This here is my blog for anything I do involving the outdoors. This was a photography blog, and will still have some of my photos here and there, but it will mostly be posts about my adventures now. Camping, fishing, hiking, rock hounding, shooting, and all kinds of stuff. Enjoy

They finally got it together and opened up state lands again. Here’s a photo of me trying to figure out how to remove a chunk of blue agate while my clone observes.
Pretty successful day. I’ll get photos up once the finds are cleaned up and more when they’re polished

Quarantine has left me with no where to go but the marina. Even walking the same path each day I try to find new photos

Cool old photo I found. I was in elementary or middle school then. 3 1/2 lb rainbow trout I caught in the boat launch at Jameson Lake. Put me over the top for the derby and won biggest fish. Good times

Exploring some new area in the cascades. Lots of good places for possible rock hounding and maybe gold in the stream. This interesting pipe was also following the stream. I know this was a mining area way back when so I might follow it up later on this summer.

Here’s a pic from the Seattle area’s one week of winter.
This page has kinda dried up since I started my rockhounding blog. I probably won’t post much more in the way of photography, but some changes are coming and I will most likely begin converting this page to document my adventures this summer. Lots of camping, fishing, rock hounding, and all sorts of general outdoor activities. We’ll see what the future holds.

Been doing som organizing with all of my rocks/gems and decided to fill some of these little jars. Not sure what I’ll do with the full ones, but they look better than ziplock bas.
In these pics are sunstone, garnets, amethyst, sapphires, and beach agates.

Found some old pictures I took with a film camera in Glacier National Park. Might play around with these a bit

Kinda on a dry spell and haven’t felt like taking the camera out, so here’s some pics of flowers (and a grasshopper) for no particular reason

Wandering up highway 2. “Summertime” in Washington. Staring to upload using flickr again because I can’t stand how grainy pictures look when I just upload them as photos through tumblr.
