Emf in PVP civ part 3
words: 729
summary: Ally deals with the disappearance of his best friend
Ally was tired, physically tired, mentally tired but most of all tired of waiting. Tired of waiting for Emf to come back so he doesn’t have to be champion any more and tired of waiting for Evbo the god of parkour to finally fucking notice that his choosen chamption is missing. Evbo hasn't been around in a long time.
He used to come around every few weeks to say hi to everyone and sometimes have practice parkour battles with Emf but weeks turned into months turned into years turned into so long not many people could remember Evbo’s face. Ally could remember his face though there was a time he was very thankful for Evbo for getting him out of fighter level but right now Ally hated Evbo.
Hates him for not visiting Emf enough. Hates that whenever Evbo visits he doesn’t stick around. Hates him for a million more things he did that hurt Emf. Ally right now needs to put all of the hate aside because Evbo is the only one who can bring his best friend back so he’ll wait on a throne that he doesn’t belong on with boots that feel too heavy and wait.
Evbo’s last visit was more than ten years ago and Ally doesn’t want to waste however long he’ll be waiting just sitting around so he organizes search parties for every level they don’t result in finding anything useful but everyone is happy to help look for Emf. Ally’s practices using the command blocks for a week adding, removing and moving structures.
After a week Ally feels comfortable enough using the command blocks to bring Emf back but nothing happens no matter how many times he jumps across the command blocks. Ally finds that the hardest part of being champion isn’t having to deal with crazy people who want to end the world or figuring out the best way to house and feed people; it's dealing with everyone's mundane problems.
Like the Pro’s wanting different types of housing, the Masters wanting more books in the liberty or the noobs wanting an area where they can practice parkour. (Ally does grant that last one because it seems like a great idea). It's tiring having to deal with people asking for things everyday and Ally can’t imagine how Emf has not gone crazy having done this for so many years.
The worst part about it though is when people start asking to hold funerals for Emf. He denies every request and tells everyone that Emf will come back and to not get used to him as champion.
After a week more of waiting Evbo does show up but he doesn’t come so he can return Emf to where he belongs he comes defeated with no clue where his champion is. All he knows is that Emf isn’t dead but nothing more than that. Ally asks Evbo how he knows Emf isn’t dead “it’s a bit hard to explain but I can feel everyone in parkour civilization, everybody’s hopes and dreams I feel them all the time. I feel Emf’s but it's weaker than everyone else. I have to focus really hard to feel him but it's still there” Evbo explains.
“Do you know where he is?” Ally asks hopefully. Evbo shakes his head “He’s not here” Ally looks into the distance trying to imagine where Emf ended up. Ally hopes it's a nice place where Emf  can practice parkour all day without a care in the world; but Ally knows how cruel the world can be sometimes.
“How do we get him back?” Ally says it with so much determination that it no longer feels like a question but a declaration. “I’m not sure but I’m sure we can figure it out” logically it doesn’t make sense why that statement fills Ally with confidence. If a god doesn’t know what to do how could anyone but he’s seen Evbo do the impossible before so there is no doubt In his mind that they’ll find Emf and bring him back.
“Where do we start?” Ally asks with a too wide grin across his face. “Do you know what Emf was doing the day before he disappeared?” Evbo asks, making his way down to the Master level. “Shouldn’t you know that?” Ally asks, looking at Evbo who at the very least looks a little guilty.

Emf in PVP civ part 2
summary: Kenadain decides what to do with Emf
words: 871
Kenadain has seen many things in his life. The rise then fall of the sword civilization, being named the leader of the bows, seeing how the axes cut themselves off from every other civilization, and now meeting a man who claims to be from somewhere with no weapons or standard forms of PVP.
on top of everything Kenadain had to figure out what he was going to to with Emf, he had no valuable information on this society, if the PVP guards found out about him Kenadain was sure he would find himself in a lot of trouble after they figure out Emf can’t be hurt by weapons.
There was the option of keeping him in one of the cells forever hoping a guard never goes down there, Kendain could simply throw him out and let him be the problem of whatever civilization finds him next (the thought of what the last of the swords would do if they found a way to use Emf ability to not get hurt by weapons sent a chill down Kendain’s spine).
The last and stupidest of the options would be to get Emf a room, teach him how to use a bow and let him live the most normal life one can have in PVP civilization. That plan could go wrong in so many ways, without knowing what type of person Emf is there is no way of knowing what he’ll do.
What if is violent and as soon as he learns to use a bow decides to wipe all the bows out. What if he is disloyal and leaves as soon as another civilization offers something better.  Kenadain took a deep breath as he told himself to calm down. It's too early to make a decision. Emf hasn’t even been here for a full day, before anything else happens Kenadain needs to update Wato on the situation and go from there.
Wato was, as usual, very easy to find. He was in the training area teaching the new bows basic skills. This was almost always Seawatt’s job but whenever he has something else going on Wato takes over. As soon as he sees Kenadain approaching Wato smiles and waves at him. “Are you almost done?” Kenadain asks “just about.” Wato replies before turning back to the group he was teaching “good work today everyone you all can go back to your room now.”
Kendaian and Wato walk to the former's room in silence, it isn’t uncomfortable but there is no doubt in Wato’s mind that whatever Kenadain is about to tell him it’s going to be important. As the duo enter the room Kenadain lets out breath as he relaxes on his bed. “Have you ever thought about a world where you don’t have to fight others just so you can get a longer life?” Kenadain asks, his focus is on the ceiling but it is clear that he is expecting a response.
Wato sits on the ground next to the armor stand that opens the door expecting this to be a long conversation. “Sometimes, but at the same time it’s hard to imagine how that would work and what life would be like without my bow.” Wato says his green cat ears laying flat against his head as he hugs his bow a little tighter to himself.
“How much do you know about the man who showed up today with no weapons and diamond boots?” Kenadain asks “not much honestly I figured Seawatt had him covered though since he never showed up to the lessons” Kenadain thinks carefully about what he is going to say next, he knows Wato is not stupid but finding out there is a place out there where you don’t have to fight to for the chance to live even one attack longer would be hard to hear especially for someone who has lived in PVP civilization as long as Wato has.
“He’s not from here, he came from a different world called parkour civilization.” Explaining how parkour civilization works is hard; several times Kenadain has to make guesses as to how everything works based on what Emf told him.  Kenadain pauses, giving Wato time to process. “Are you sure?” Wato asks, “I’m sure.” Kenadain replies.
“What do you want to do with him?” “I’m not sure yet I’m still considering the options.” “Whatever you pick I hope you know I’ll support your decision."  Kenadain looked over at his friends and smiled, “I know Wato.” after his talk with Wato Kenadain’s choice had become a lot simpler it would be unfair to put Emf in a cell forever since he never did anything wrong and he wouldn’t throw him out to be found by one of the other civilizations because in the short talk Kenadain had with a man they connected each chosen to rule not because they were the best option but because the best option left.
Kenaidan headed down to the lowest level of bow civilization; the graveyard. Heading to the very back picking out a grave no one would even notice was missing he grabbed a bow out of the item frame and  headed one floor up to the only cell in the bow civilization.

Emf in pvp civ part 1
summary: Emf wakes up in the bow part of PVP civilization and see's a familiar face
words: 1395
When Emf woke up he was in a lot of pain. This wasn’t all unusual; he probably just practiced too much parkour the previous day or spent a few too many days this week asleep on the champion thrown. He would probably remember all of it as he went about his morning. But that never happened instead as he tried to stretch his arms he realized that they were tied behind his back.
That explained the discomfort in his shoulders at least. Emf also found that he was sitting in a very old wooden chair. “Good, you're awake, that'll make questioning you a lot easier." Emf couldn't see the face of the person that was talking but he could recognize that voice anywhere. Seawatt.
First thing Emf thought was that he must be going crazy, the second he was totally screwed. Seawatt slowly came into view and there was no mistaking it, Seawatt was back. “Who are you?” such a simple question but it confused Emf. Was this some sort of joke or did Seawatt really not remember him?
Emf didn’t currently have the energy to play games with Seawatt. “Are you joking?” Seawatt glared at Emf before pulling out an object that he was carrying on his side and aimed it at Emf's throat. Emf had never seen anything like it before and failed to come up with a way it could be used in parkour or how Seawatt got a hold of such a thing.
Emf got the feeling that he was supposed to be threatened by the way Seawatt was looking at him but he didn’t feel particularly scared or frightened after all Emf still had all his blocks and a totem on him. “I don’t joke. Now tell me who you are, where you are from and who sent you and I might consider letting you live.”
Seawatt didn’t seem to be joking and Emf didn’t want to find out whatever his new trick is “my name is Emf, I’m from the master level and no one sent me.” he made sure to speak calmly and clearly, if Seawatt remembered him after hearing his name he didn’t show it. “Where’s your weapon?”
Seawatt made it sound like such an easy question but Emf had no clue how to answer. Was he talking about his boots, no seawatt didn’t need to ask where it was because they were still on his feet. His blocks maybe, did Seawatt want to know what attacks he was capable of. Emf couldn’t think of anything else it could be so he pulled out half a stack of wooden blocks and threw them on the floor.
Those weren't all the blocks Emf had on himself but he didn’t want to reveal his whole hand while he didn’t know what Seawatt was planning. After he threw the wooden planks on the ground, Seawatt looked at him like he was an idiot. Guess he didn’t mean what blocks I had on me, Emf thought while Seawatt continued to glare at the half stack of blocks like they had offended him.
“I’m going to explain this slowly because you seem to be a little slow.” Seawatt said slowly which offended Emf who let out a scoff. “Were you born with a bow?” Seawatt asks, shaking the item in his hand for emphasis “a trident,” he now moves his hands like he is holding a long heavy stick.
“An axe,” Seawatt moves his hands closer together and motions like he’s cutting down a tree, “or a shield,” he is now standing straight and trying his best not to move. There seems to be something else he wants to add but doesn’t. Emf continues to stare confused at Seawatt not understanding what he was saying or doing.
All he gathered was that the thing Seawatt was holding was called a bow. Emf looked down at the floor trying to piece together what was happening when he noticed Seawatt’s feet or rather the lack of foot wear. “What happened to your boot’s?” Emf asked without thinking, but it was a very important questions boot’s are everything in parkour civilization, even noobs wore them the only time people would take them off ever was in their own home, even that was rare and never when company is over.
If Seawatt wasn’t wearing his boots something must either be very wrong with the fabric of the universe or they were somewhere very far away from parkour civilization. With the way this Seawatt was looking at him like he had grown a second head he was starting to think it was the latter.
“Last time I checked I was the one asking the questions,” Seawatt said coldly. Emf took a deep breath and contemplated his options, on one hand he could probably try and explain everything to this Seawatt and seem like a crazy person. On the other hand he could pretend to be one of those weapons that he listed off earlier.
Both options seemed horrible. Seawatt didn’t seem to remember parkour civilization and likely wouldn’t believe Emf was simply very lost. The second option was also unlikely to work because Emf was a horrible lair but at the moment it looked like the better of the two options. “I’m an axe.”
Emf said mustering up all the confidence he had in him. He didn’t know why he picked an axe, he was just hoping that whoever the axes were they wore boots and Seawatt wasn’t one of them “Where is your weapon now?” Seawatt asked without missing a beat “I dropped it.” Seawatt seemed stunned by his answer “you dropped it?”
“yes.” Emf doubled down. Seawatt let out a tired sigh and rubbed the bridge of his nose. “Look I'm tired so just admit you’re a trident and tell me who sent you and I’ll let you go.” “I’ve never met a trident in my life.” Seawatt gave him an annoyed look before taking a step back and shooting his bow straight at Emf’s head.
But Emf never took any damage, instead the arrow just bounced off his head and landed on the floor. Seawatt tried shooting Emf a few more times but to no avail around 5 minutes of constant shooting and nothing happening Seawatt let out an angry scout and stormed out of the room.
Emf was too busy laughing to care much about being left tied up. As his laughter died down Emf was glad that whatever Seawatt plans where ended up not working but the longer he stayed tied to a chair the more his anxieties started to sit in. If he really was no longer in parkour civilization then where was he and why of all people was Seawatt here.
Emf spent the next few hours sitting alone with his thoughts when he heard Seawatt approaching and it sounded like he was talking with someone. The conversation was too far away to hear what they were talking about. All he knew was that Seawatt was yelling and whoever he was talking to wasn’t.
When his cell door opened (let’s be honest it couldn’t be anything but a cell) he saw Seawatt but this time he seemed a lot less cool and collected then the last time he saw him and behind him was a man with brown hair, cat ears and heterochromia.  He was also holding a bow the exact same as Seawatt’s.
The brown haired man held up the bow the same way Seawatt did and the same thing happened, his only reaction was a simple eyebrow raised and a flick of his ears. “Seawatt you can go, I can handle this from here.” Seawatt looked like he wanted to say something but left without protest.
The brown haired man left the room momentarily only to come back with a chair and sat facing Emf. “Emf is your name is it.” the stranger asked, Emf nodded “it’s very nice to meet you, my name is Kenadain.” The smile on the stranger's face held no warmth or kindness, only cold calculation.
“Now I would like to hear a little about where you’re from and I’ll tell you a little about where you ended up?” It was framed as a question but Emf had a feeling that he wasn’t going to leave this room if he didn’t answer the question.

Gen shut off the TV with a huff, angrily throwing the remote onto the floor before burying his head into the couch cushion and letting himself go.
Oh yes indeed, everyone was having the time of their lives, back in a newly minted world with technology and high rises and working water pumps. Everyone except for one. Because of those 367 days since they saved humanity. Gen had been alone for 322 of them.

Needless to say, taking a transcontinental trip across America via train with a science-obsessed stranger was not what he had expected when he decided to abandon his lush lifestyle in Japan. But even then, Gen couldn't help but want to join the eccentric stranger in his journey of chasing the stars. More specifically, he wanted to chase him.

before the farewell

summary:
On the dawn of April 2, 5747, Asagiri Gen leaves the Kingdom of Science to travel the world. Or so he says. Running away from a broken heart just seemed too poetic for a calculating mentalist.
Five years later, Ishigami Senku follows the trail he left behind because he isn't afraid to chase after what he wants.
-
Asagiri Gen could not quite let go of his greatest love, so he writes him letters he will never send instead. Ishigami Senku isn't perfect, trial-and-error is of course the theme of science, but that doesn't mean he won't try to fix his mistakes.

Climb the stairs, make your wish. If you're lucky, the god of fortune will reward you.
Gen wasn't taking any chances. He would climb the thousand steps to Ishigami shrine if it meant success.
He never expected his life to change forever after seeing those crimson eyes. Was it fate for them to meet? A freak accident?
All of it begs the question: What is fortune to a god?
