One of my favourite things about watching Kamen Rider and Super Sentai now is recognising filming locations.

Like "oh this is where Ryotaro had like 2 solid minutes of bad luck in Den-O" or "oh this is where Hasse died in Gaim"

OK so when I'm watching series of Kamen Rider and I'm not quite gelling with it I like to imagine what I'd do differently. My overall opinion on Kabuto is positive but I just wanted to share what I'd do if I were doing like a fanfic or something.

• Kabuto is at its best when it's about petty people abusing the power that the situation they're in has granted them, focus on different groups abusing these powers in different ways (A leader of a cult dedicated to worshipping worms who's just taking advantage of people, a private arms dealer pushing to arm the public leading to more innocents being hurt, that sort of thing)

• Do more to show how the world is coping with the worms ala Kuuga. This would make the fighting amongst the riders more impactful as it highlights the suffering they're deprioritizing for their own pride

• Have a character like Sasword appear earlier but have him be a genuine competitor for the Kabuto zecter, have Tendou and this character enter a purity arms race that tears them apart over the course of the series. I'm aware that arrogance is a flaw but the show doesn't treat it like one for Tendou, with this you can keep his personality and actually do something with it. (We can keep Sasword tho he's one of the best things about the show)

• I have no idea what I'd do with Hiyori

• Kagami is already nearly perfect, I'd change him becoming a cop at the end though.

Honestly when Evility Live's henshin shouts "IM PERFECT" that's the shit man.

Like Daiji's whole arc (and Revice in general) is messy af but yanno what, I forgive them, Evility Live is rad as hell.
