I was really nervous about making this video because I just know how polarizing and ... difficult it can be to talk about this kind of stuff especially publicly but I just ... I just can't be quiet about it anymore. It's just not ... For my mental health I have to just say this and just be honest about how I feel.

Totodile is the best Pokemon starter. Like I'm - I - I - I can't keep hearing about all these other like ... especially the best water starter. Like it will be like "Oh, Mudkip, Mudkip, Mudkip!"

Mudkip never had anything for me! Mudkip is overrated. And I'm just so ... I'm just so sick of it! I'm just so sick of it! I cannot keep walking through my life being quiet about this. Totodile was the best water starter in Pokémon.

And I'm just gonna say it.

Plus I quite enjoy listening to Princess Weekes' videos so I want to try at transcribing one of her videos. I don't really have much mental capacity right now to do her LONG(ish) videos so I chose a YouTube short because I want to, it's Pokémon-related, and it's a fun video.

So... I'm currently a volunteer transcriber by the username of "casualtranscripts" at the Nerdfighteria Wiki.

Yep, sorry for the lack of updates on mera's Twice video. I was gonna transcribe more of that video but with my current mental and emotional state, I guess I needed a little bit more time. Think of it as a change of pace.

Freya: No, but my first day on The Witcher, his son was actually playing this role where he - and he had to ask me to dance.

Freya: So it's like so bizarre, it's like a full circle.

CVT Personal Notes: Yep, I'm back! Once Again!

I'm gonna have to be a bit real with you all. I mainly did this because I was trying to watch this video with closed captioning and then got confused trying to figure out what was going on. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and decided I'll have to edit the transcript myself. But I do enjoy many of the interviews from in the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes press tour due to the cast's amazing (and chaotic) chemistry.

Fortunate the closed captioning captured quite a lot of what they said so I feel less stressed about this.

The mera video transcription is a-coming. I've taken a step back from it for now and focused on other projects. You'll see in the next post.

as a subtitler im incredibly biased as i say this but. shoutout to forms of fan labor other than fanart and fanfiction. fanart and fanfiction are awesome, don't take this as a dig at those, but i have a big appreciation for fans who provide closed captioning/subtitles/translations of works out of love n passion; fans who recap and explain aspects of the original work; fucking SPEEDRUNNERS, holy shit, shoutout to speedrunners and challenge runners in video game communities. lots of things that fall outside the scope of what comes to mind when people think of fanart/fan labor are integral parts of a healthy fan ecosystem

Personal Notes: Yep, I'm back!

I was trying to find an official one where Garrett did the closing where he called the movie, "The Triple Frontier", instead. I couldn't find it besides this compilation video made by Hollywood Celebrity World on YouTube which I am still grateful for. However, I decided to transcribe this version from the movie's official Facebook page where Pedro does the closing and it has captions imbedded in the video. I'm mainly doing this for my reference.

The mera video transcription is a-coming. My IRL stuff is somewhat settling down a bit. I'll catch you all in the next post.
