One thing I keep seeing a bunch of Leftists online doing is a. talking about how much they love 'Prince of Egypt' and how great it is, but it's such a pity the (((zionists))) ruined it or whatever and b. making fake live action castings for the movie but refusing to put any Jewish or Israeli actors in there because they're all (((zionists))) and evil---while also, hilariously, refusing to cast any Egyptians either because for all their posturing about how Not Racist they are and how important Representation™️ is to them, they don't actually care.

And like, for both a. and b. ...what movie are they fucking watching?

Literally the first five minutes of the movie have Jews singing to G-d, asking him to deliver them "to the promised land"...WHAT FUCKING PROMISED LAND DO THEY THINK THEY'RE SINGING ABOUT???

It's Israel!!! Obviously it's not talking about the modern state of Israel, but it's talking about the land of Israel, but still!!! For a group of people dedicated to ignoring/denying Jewish indigeneity to the land, how exactly are they watching this movie and "loving it" apparently while still holding the opinions that they hold---ie. Jews are all white land stealing colonizers, not indigenous to the land, and Jews living in Israel is evil.

It makes no sense to me, Prince of Egypt is literally a zionist movie, in that it's about the Jewish people's return to the land of Israel. So how are all these "anti-zionist" idiots watching the movie and supposedly loving it? And how exactly does it make sense for them to be so "anti-zionist" that they won't even cast Jews to play Jewish roles because (((zionism))), when they're talking about a literal zionist movie? Like WHAT?

It just...I'm so confused.

The thing that I’ve noticed about leftist antisemites is that they will spout the same ridiculous bullshit conspiracy theories that right wing antisemites do, like ZOG, but wrap it up in thinly veiled woke language. And when an actual Jewish person (or anyone who’s educated on antisemitism) comes along and calls them out on it, they will get so furious, like a sense of entitlement. I'm reading the scriptwriters' guide for TOS and it's cracking me up in many places. It's so obvious that, from the very beginning, they were already aware of so many of the issues people complain about today.

Yes you can have a space suit but please don't ask for zero gravity. And where aliens are concerned, you can have some makeup but please focus on the interior differences not just tentacles!

Honestly I think Spock is a better alien than, say, Jabba the Hutt, because as human as he looks, he's much more different on the inside. People like to dismiss Star Trek aliens as "forehead of the week" but it's kind of a stage shorthand for "we're about to discover a unique culture, these people are different from you in ways you might not expect."
