Not to kill everyone’s mood but:
Juvia distancing herself now that Gray finally likes her back. Her being afraid because everyone in her past thought she was too much, and even though Gray has know what he’s getting into from the very beginning, she’s scared now when reality hits her. And also she doesn’t think she deserves the love herself - she wanted to show Gray that he was worth all the love, all the work to warm his frozen heart, but now that she’s succeeded she can’t allow herself to be loved. She’s been the chaser, the one who pines and wants - she’s never been the wanted one, and now she’s terrified he’ll find out something he doesn’t like about her, and he’ll leave.
Obviously this scenario has a happy ending but I like angst
