Inktober2019, Day22, GHOST. I drew my favorite Disney ghost- Morgana! So sorry I have not posted for a while. I have been traveling and also have not been feeling 100% this month. Now feeling ever so much better- I am trying to get back in my art groove. Just loving Inktober and all that is brings. I am not stressing this year- even after I almost forget till late in the day to draw and Post. It’s all good and good for the brain, right?

Inktober day 6 HUSKY, Decided a baby Husky would do. I always thought I’d have a husky one day. Then I met someone who actually owned one. Yes, they are one of the most beautiful dogs on the planet but they also shed a carpet of hair daily! Inktober Day 5, BUILD, Pretty bird building a nest for her family to be. So, originally I was Thinking of the Great pyramids or a body builder for the word build today. Then a Coopers Hawk visited us in the late afternoon. It made me wonder about his nest. So voilá, a bird building a nest for day 5.

This work is special to me, as my former employer, now a friend, asked me to create something unique for her new home. It was an honor to be asked, especially from someone I have such enormous respect for. Barbara has always been a positive force in my life.

Inktober Day One. A ‘RING’ of Daisies

Alcohol Ink (originally) now only available as digital. This was part of a painting I was working on. When I realized I had to rework this section I decided to photograph it so I could salvage this one area. I just love how it looks like part of the universe. Maybe even a developing star system.

This picture makes me super happy. Seeing my art on a canvas bag that I gave as a gift being utilized on my sister’s vacation! A very Happigal Moment! 😄💕

Magic moments just happen sometimes when you think you are on a different road entirely. ‘Humberto’ is a 24x30 Alcohol Ink painting on vinyl & board. I will be setting this in acrylic resin.

Just a beautiful green garden. Thinking of growth and lusciousness today. Always with a spark of new growth or new color. One never knows what is around the corner. I added in more texture-pattern than normal. It was not working until I added in more contrast. It seems peaceful. Thinking all good things and all is well. Had such a good time teaching an into to Alcohol Ink mini workshop at my local gallery this weekend. All the artists and non artists just jumped in and were so much fun and seemed to have a good time. I was thrilled with each of their results. Best compliment came from 83 year old Carole, who said she had taken lots of classes but learned a great deal in my class! Wow! I could bust!
