It’s been a while guys!! Sorry that I kinda disappeared off the face of the earth for months, kinda needed a break for a while, partly from sims itself and also partly from just life

I’m currently not anywhere near my laptop and won’t be for a while since I’m visiting my boyfriend in a different state but I think now is a good time to get back into the sims and make stuff and do more gameplay things

I hope everyone has been okay while I’ve been gone!! I’ll probably tell you more about the things that has happened while I was gone but that’ll be when I can properly tag stuff, anyway, I’m looking forward to getting back into that simblr life again ❤️

wont be any sims posts this upcoming week since i’ll be volunteering at primary school and wont have any time to play sims and take pictures, but there will be a lot more of personal stuff so if you’re not interested, block the tag personal !!

day fifty-three    our makeshift christmas was magical, on a not-so-blizzard day we went out to find us a tree, aspen mentioned a few miles away he noticed some smaller pine trees so we cut one down and brought it home. we made cute little wooden ornaments together! aspen showed me how to make them, while i showed him how to turn berries into some paint.

   obviously we have no idea if our christmas was on actual christmas but what can you do when you’re stuck on an island with no concept of time and date? i’ll give you a hint, not much.

   it was truly magical, spending it with you, aspen, and yes i know you’re reading this, i see you looking through my journal from time to time.

day forty-nine    snow has begun sticking to the ground and it’s become almost unbearable to be outside. wherever this place it, it gets terrible blizzards..

   we managed to score ourselves some warmer clothes. a suitcase washed ashore a while ago, not anything i recognised so we figured it must have been someone else. i finally scored some pants!! but we both managed to find something, granted i had to adjust aspen’s coat as it was a woman’s and didn’t fit him.

   aspen put out the idea that even though we’re no where near civilisation, we should at least do something for christmas. and i didn’t know how much i needed that.. normal-ness until now. mum, dad, wherever you are, merry christmas and i hope you’re doing okay. i miss you.

day thirty-three    it’s getting colder and colder by the day and still no sign of any helicopters or boats or anything yet.. im trying to stay hopeful but it’s starting to dawn on me that perhaps we’ll never get found..

   in a way, im very glad that even though im stuck on this island, i have aspen around to keep me company.. we’re.. we’re doing our best to cope. it seems like it’s getting closer to winter now so we’re both going to have to find something warm to use as clothes before we freeze to death. wish us luck.

aspen: yes it’s finally built! now we dont have to sleep in a cramped tent!! and risk it blowing away!!!! sage: umm.. maybe we should get inside?? it looks like it’s starting to rain... i dont want to suffer another close encounter with lightning..

day fifteen    aspen found my little diary i’ve been writing in, it’s a little embarrassing but he finds it funny and can understand my need for jotting down my thoughts and keeping track of the days. turns out he’s been carving it into a spare piece of wood but lost track after a while. good news is we’re almost down with our little shack!! eventually we can start moving all the stuff in there and have somewhere to be when it’s stormy outside. turns out tent + lightning??? not a good combo.

   we both have our little role going on, i catch us food, cook, and gather up some things i think we can use, while he’s been building and turning those resources into something.. who knew that he was so handy??

thank you so much !!! the journal/diary idea isn’t a new one, i was inspired by a few other simmers who have done it and it’s really nice?? it’s sorta semi-storytelling but without a specific plot which i suck at but i wanted to dabble more into that aspect.

day nine    aside from the small outbursts of sadness, which granted who wouldn’t have them after spending so long here, aspen is actually pretty level-headed?? he’s been teaching me a lot of stuff about what is safe to eat, what isn’t, still water ponds and lakes are bad to drink, etc. occasionally strumming on his guitar to forget the situation we’re in.. he’s been the one thing keeping me sane which i appreciate a lot.

   after the big storm hit us some days ago, we’ve been working towards making a small little shack to keep us safe and dry from thunderstorms. i’ve been collecting as much wood and fish for us as i can while he’s turned the wood into a little wood-working table to build things. this has been our routine for a while now.

day five    it’s been a couple of days since my last entry. turns out the owner of this camp is named aspen! he told me he came here a while ago, planning to study the wildlife but along the way a storm happened and crashed his boat into rocks, destroying it in the process and he’s been living here ever since. he had left a little while ago to explore the island to search for some materials and didn’t have any luck and that’s when i showed up... it’s nice to have someone around at least?? oh! and he let me use some fabric to make a dress. it’s been getting kinda cold here so shorts and a bikini top isn’t quite going to cut it. as well as showed me some berries that are safe to eat, i decided to bring some back to the camp so we can plant them.
