This can also be interesting with how tango and Skizz's dynamic. Okay so going on reverse Them being close so far currently and then in limited life then Skizz is gone. Last life Tango is betrayed and Skizz is a little bit apart of that so. It's showing a sort of decline of the trust.

It's a little interesting with Scotts and Jimmy's dynamic too. It being like a slow burn (character wise) to the Flower husbands

Also it makes Martyn's story a little bit more sad if it's in reverse. Him wandering and not really getting his own teammate that he fully trusts until the end and he has to hurt him.

I don't know I just find the whole idea of the story being told in reverse interesting.

The theory that the entire life series is being viewed in reverse.

The games end when Grian finally wins that which he created in 3rd Life, freeing the players.

Ok. So hear me out. There is alot of it that doesn't make sense, mostly character wise, but let's put all of that to the side for one moment to entertain this.

-Cleo and Etho have a divorce arc in limited life. Funny, but they barely interacted in double life. Now, at the time of this writing, they have a wonderful duo going on in secret life.... hmm. Interesting

-Martyn has said his canon reasoning behind Lizzie and Mumbo not being in double life was because the previous season was too traumatic for them and they needed more time to recover. If we apply this logic going from Last life to 3rd, the logic still applies.

-This also would mean Skizz wasn't in double because limited life was painful for him... yeah. Ouch.

-Now I haven't seen Lizzie's last life pov all the way through, but she was a fairy queen, correct? And Ren was her bodyguard. Her second in command. I like the idea of Ren becoming a king in 3rd because of that.

-This also makes Pearl's descent into madness in double life a bit sadder, but with a happy ending of her and Scott teaming next season (last life)

-Bdubs kills Impulse the one time he forgets to give him a clock.... oof

-There is also very funny things with this theory, like Grian throwing an axe into Scar's back and then waking up as his soulmate. (Which would also explain why he didn't want to team with him in last life)

Ok that's all in my brain rn, don't take this too seriously as it's not a theory I think is canon or should be, but its a fun idea to spin around I think. Feel free to add stuff !

But I haven't been able to get a fic idea of Impulse being all protective of Scar because the ghost is scaring him a lot.

Like imagine c!Impulse just going all protect mode during Phasmo and c!scar finding it adorable

Also both of them messing with Grian and Skizz

Just thier entire dynamic of 'I wanna learn but it's complicated' and 'I know everything about it' is so cute

Also think about back on hermitcraft Scar finding Impulse in Scarland and questioning him about Phasmo and whenever Impulse says that it isn't helping him do the redstone Scar just says "Yeah, but I'm your boss so I'm telling you to stop and explain to me how to play Phasmophobia!"

I love the idea of Impulse using the whole I'm a demon thing whenever Scar says that ghosts and everything are scary. The first time Scar didn't have an answer. The second time Scar just said "Yeah well you're not a scary demon you're a hot one"

Also yes so many headcannons. Like so many

First off in my head cannons Impulse is a demon or nether hybrid, Bdubs is a glare fairy/nymph, and Jimmy is a winged hybrid (can't decide if I like him as an avian or angel)

Impulse is horrible about over working himself. Not even on purpose he just focuses and gets in the zone and then hours late he realized that he is starving and it's very late. So usually bdubs and Jimmy will come grab their partner. Jimmy and Bdubs will pout and Impulse can't say no to the joint forces of Bdubs and Jimmy's puppy dog eyes.

Since impulse is a demon or nether hybrid of some type, he is warm like actual human shaped heater. so when it's cold out since it can be bad for Jimmy's wings impulse will get so much Jimmy cuddles. Bdubs finds it adorable he has so many pictures of the two or all three of them cuddled up.

Impulse has a huge like cuddle pile room. It started after the three got together. Bdubs and Jimmy both have hybrid instincts when it comes to sleep so Impulse being as caring as he is made a special room for it. It's the tallest room in his base and it has moss and blanket everywhere.

Jimmy likes how protective Impulse is. Impulse is a big worry wort so he ends up being fairly protective. Bdubs outwardly finds it annoying but secret loves it so much.

Skizz, Tango, Etho and Grian tag team tease the three sometimes even Joel gets in on it. And everytime with out fail Bdubs yells something with embarrassment and Jimmy hides his face Impulse will usually laugh and play up how love dovey they are.

Despite their teasing all of the teasers are happy for them and were relieved when they finally got together. They were so pining hard and all oblivious.

In my mind the three got together during Limited Life. And it's partly due to Skizz being irritated by their obviousness. Scott and martyn happened to witness it and would let Jimmy live down how red he got.

Impulse is most of the time in the middle during cuddles. Bdubs curls against him half on top and Jimmy lays on top of impulse on his stomach so his wings aren't squished.

Bdubs love languages is touch, acts of service and quality time. So he ends up making and setting up dates for the three.

Impulse's is quality time, gifts, and then a mix between touch and voicing it.

Jimmy's is gifts, touch and a mix between quality time and acts of service.

So Bdubs and Jimmy voice their love for Impulse a lot because they know he appreciates it. Similarly bdubs gets hugs and cuddles all of the time and Jimmy will get a lot of tiny things from the two even if it's something as simple as a rock Bdubs found.

I might go into how some of their hybrid instincts interact with each other another time.

BDubs/Jimmy headcanons? 🤔

Oh goodness so so many/POS

-under break-

While Bdubs maybe be very very loud about how important sleep is he will often forget to eat. This is where Jimmy comes in making sure that he eats something more substantial than just golden carrots.

Jimmy sleeps on his stomach it's the easiest way to be comfortable with his wings. So the two usually ends up with Bdubs lying on his back and Jimmy laying on top of him when they cuddle.

Both are very tactical. So physical touch is huge for them. And sometimes being away on different servers makes them upset. This will usually result in Jimmy spending a few days curled up with Bdubs on hermitcraft.

During the crossover Jimmy called Bdubs sunshine and Bdubs just melted and let Jimmy drag him around for a day.

Jimmy will just non stop compliment Bdubs. Om his buildings, to his Redstone, literally anything. And everytime without fail Bdubs says "I know!" And turns away trying to hide his blush

Bdubs will comment on anything and everything positive about Jimmy especially when he's sleepy and Jimmy will just say "stop no I'm not" all while hiding his face.

During the life series Bdubs hates that Jimmy is the first one out. After they got together, after they both die bdubs will just hug him and tell him how well he did.

They both love horses! Bdubs and Jimmy love going horse riding together. Bdubs like teaching Jimmy all of the little things about taking care of them.

I have so many, and this is just them together this isn't even adding in any poly ship with them

Okay, so going off of this and the little bit of Evo I know, which is Jimmy was one that during Evo the watchers actively disliked.

So if we're working off of the assumption that Watchers don't like positive emotions (why they dislike Scott along with his disregard for their rules)

Does this mean that Jimmy's love, hope and affection for his friends is so powerful that the Watchers can't feed until he's gone?

Think about it. His hope is powerful enough to stop death. Is his love and affection enough to stop the watchers feeding?

His curse is being the Canary, but the coal miners often loved thier Canary so much that they would try to get them breathing again.

So does Jimmy's curse work the same way? His hope and love the song that protects the server?

Seen this multiple times.. just take my thoughts.

You're right,

The ranchers never left the Ranch.

Jimmy is stuck looking at the smoldering remains of the home his soulmate built for him. He stuck re building it. Trying his best to be better for Tango. To not be the but of the joke. He stuck gently calming down his soulmate over. And over. And over again.

But Tango?

Tango never left the Team BEST bunker.

He's stuck there. Stuck in a constant loop of getting killed, betrayed by Bdubs. He stuck getting told to calm down, and forgive him.

He stuck looking at a traitor with a life he gave him. He's stuck always watching his back.

Yeah, he loves the ranch. It's where his rancher, his soulmate is.

But Tango is stuck down in a bunker that his first ally made, getting betrayed by the team members he would—he did— give his life for.

He might be at the Ranch with Jimmy, but he's still running up the stairs of a bunker getting away from a traitor.

Some life series thoughts

"Scarian never left the desert"

WRONG

Grian never left the desert. After what happened there, his mind stayed behind, always filled with bombed houses and bunkers, the prics of cacti and the taste of sand on his tounge.

Scar however, he left the desert. He got over it relatively quickly and got to magical mountain.

And then, he never left. He stayed there in the sinking feeling of loneliness, of never being take serious, of not having a single alliance that isn't purely for being useful.

And now, Grian is alone in the desert, haunted by a memory of Scar that no longer exists and Scar is on magical mountain, more lonely than ever.

"Treebark never left renchanting"

WRONG

Martyn never left. Martyn can't go a single day without thinking about it, it's the one thing that makes up 90% of his personality.

Ren on the other hand, Ren was never truly there to begin with. For Ren, everything from the beginning was just a game. He never once hurt because of his arc. He had a blast while it lasted and when it was done, moved on.

And sure, he still thinks about Martyn from time to time, but Ren is moving, Ren is living, while Martyn is sitting in the ruins of Dogwarts, wrapped up in the last remaining banner of the red army. He knows he should move on. But he doesn't want to.

Under the break bc it's a lot.

Okay so I am going to preface the general idea by saying c!Scott in this is possessed/influenced by the Watchers.

He is not doing this willingly.

The general idea: Scott is not good. He is being absolutely horrible to Jimmy, who doesn't fully believe that Scott is bad. After an argument with Scott, Jimmy runs and is found by the Red army/dogwarts alliance. It's then healing Jimmy while dealing with the dessert trio. Scott is also healing with Scar and Grian.

Rating: Teen or Mature. There will be some suggestive stuff (I just don't know how far I will put it, and nothing explicitly nsfw) also a lot of heavy topics, so it will probably be Mature.

Ships: Red army poly. That is the best way to explain it. And also Scott/Scar/Grian, Cleo/bdubs, and maybe tango/bdubs (haven't decided will update as I decide)

Other important things: The red king is like a minor deity of sorts. Ren and Red King(King or Rk) share the body and both take control all of the time.

Scott is not fully aware what's happening and is very scared of how he treats Jimmy. Like this man is terrified of hurting someone else. The au will also follow the desert trio too, but they're not the focus.

TW: this au will have talk of abuse, and mind control. (No non-con in this, but still very heavy topics)

I will happily rant if anyone asks me anything, about this au, uh thats the basics. I do have snippets written but nothing concrete.

So take my thoughts about the mean gills parallels with thier 3rd life partners and how it manifests.

C!Scott once called C!Martyn his nick name for Jimmy when they were married. It was late at night and Martyn didn't realize why the next morning Scott seemed so silent.

After Martyn took Scotts life he spent the next few days having to correct himself from calling Scott 'my liege'

Scott and martyn often end up making connections from how one acts to their old partners.

Scott and Ren are both stubborn in their own rights.

Martin and Jimmy both have the same sense of making sure Scott is okay.

Scott doesn't like to make a connection of Jimmy's yellow and martyn's

Martyn tries to ignore how Scott and Ren both have the same walk when angry

Scar looked at the wreckage. There was just nothing left. Jellie is beside him on the sand, she's meowing at him.

She's concerned. He doesn't know how to help.

He sits there watching their hats wash up onto the sand. Slowly.

He killed them... He told them that the storm would be okay. That they could sail through it.

He was wrong.

Impulse's hat fully washed onto shore in front of him. He looks at it blankly.

He doesn't have the right to take it. To keep it.

He has always been selfish, so he picks it up anyways. He holds it to his chest, cradling it gently like it would break if he's less careful.

"They're gone..." His voice cracks at the end.

They're gone, just keeps repeating in his head.

He holds Impulse's hat tighter.

He killed them. They're gone because of him.

"No please. No!" He cries as a sob racks through his body.

He starts saying it over and over again as if a chant would fix it. As if it would bring them back.

Hot tears rolls down his checks and fall into the sand. Three familiar hats wash upto shore, but Scar doesn't notice.

He cries and screams out on the empty shore. The only one to witness his loud heartache is Jellie.

Jellie paws at him to no avail. She then slowly pushes the three hats towards Scar, trying to help. She isn't quite sure what is wrong but knows it's bad.

Scar hears a loud meow and looks up from his crying. He sees Jellie sitting behind three hats that she pushes to him.

He gently sets Impulse's hat beside him and picks her up. She purrs softly at him.

He watches the sun get higher in the sky. It's without much thought.

He holds Jellie and bitterly thinks about the sad reality that is stinking in more and more.

He killed them. He killed his family.

He looks at Impulse's hat beside him.

He killed the people that he loved and that loved him back.

My personal theory is that scar didn’t betray boatem, instead he was the only survivor of the accident that sunk the flying jellie, he blames himself for the accident which is why he tells people that he killed his family

"Hey Etho." Impulse looks past Skizz's shoulder. Skizz turns around and sees Tango and Etho.

Skizz looks at the two, he can feel possessiveness and anger wafting off of them, somewhat overwhelming him.

"Impulse, Skizz." Tango says. His voice is even, but Skizz is willing to bet that it's taking a lot of will for him not to let the anger that he felt show.

"So I was told by Grian and Martyn that you two were asked by them to stick close to Jimmy." Etho says nonchalantly. Skizz leans against the wall and taps on it twice, a signal to Impulse that something's off.

"We did, and we agreed," Impulse crosses his arms and shifts towards Skizz. "Ya know it's pretty scary what happened, and the two are just worried about their brother. I'm a little honored that they trust us enough to even ask. I mean that's kind of a big thing, a big sign of trust don't you think?" Impulse says like normal, though Skizz can see him looking at them with a tactical eye.

"Yeah, but we'll, since I'm Jimmy's Senior officer I'm just a little confused why they asked you… but I guess it is a trust thing." Etho looks Impulse in the eye as he talks.

Skizz glances at Impulse, he keeps eye contact with Etho.

"If you have something to say Etho just say it we're all friends here right?" Impulse says. Skizz looks at Tango and sees his eyes flash a bright red.

'Uh oh.' Skizz thinks. He taps four times, company it signals to Impulse.

Skizz watches as Tango steps forward. "I have something to say, why did they ask you two? Etho is his Senior officer and technically a co-captain. I am someone that Jimmy trusts and a Senior officer. Jimmy is safer with us."

Etho breaks eye contact with Impulse to speak with Tango. Skizz glances up at Impulse, who has his eyebrows raised. It's his way of asking for permission, Skizz nods yes.

"I think what Tango is trying to say is that we believe that Jimmy would be safer with us." Etho looks Impulse I'm the eye again.

Impulse just laughs a little and looks around to double check that the four are alone. He looks at Etho in the eye and walks forward stopping a step away from Etho.

"Why? Because you two aren't planning on killing Jimmy first?" Impulse flashes his golden eyes with a raised eyebrow.

Skizz walks up behind him on the same side as Tango. He puts an arm on Impulse's shoulders and leans against his partner.

Skizz senses the confusion coming from them and laughs. "Oh come on, you didn't think you two were the only duo on board did you? Because we did." He says joking a little.

Impulse glances at Tango whose confusion has overwritten his anger. "I have to say I don't know if it's smart or stupid to kill X first. It was definitely a choice." He looks Etho in the eyes, "but since we aren't planning on killing Jimmy he will be safest with us. I'm sorry if your planned alibi is messed up now." A small growl from Etho makes him pause.

Skizz starts talking not letting the other two get a word in. "But me and Dop here can take care of Jimmy and Bdubs. If you get my drift." Skizz says, stating their claims. He looks Tango in the eyes flashing the bright gold that comes with being mates to Impulse.

"Now listen here you jerks." Tango takes a step forward making Skizz step back to keep the distance between them. "You better keep you stupid blue mits off of them, do you understand my drift?"

Etho flashes his bright red eyes at Impulse. They both know that this could not end well, and both do not want that.

Impulse sighs with annoyance causing it to come out with a low growl. "You two also want to claim them." Impulse states. Etho nods.

After a second Impulse steps back from Etho and turns around to see the stare off between Skizz and Tango.

"Come on Tango Top." Skizz smirks. "We can make an agreement to finish this ship."

Tango growls and turns around to his partner. "I am not sharing my mates, Etho." He says as Skizz laughs at Tango pouting like a child.

"Tango we will just let it be Jimmy's and Bdubs decision once we finish this ship." Etho says trying to be smart about it all.

"Yeah and they'll go with the superior choice of me and Dipple Dop." Skizz says laughing a little.

Impulse looks at Skizz, "Don't." He says to Skizz unamused as Tango looks at Skizz growling.

Etho sighs and walks up behind Tango and rests his chin on Tango leaning down a little. "Tango calm down. We can deal with this later, spitfire." Etho wraps his arms around Tango in a grounding gesture.

Skizz raises his chin in a challenge. No one moves, the tension rising until they hear steps coming their way.

Skizz moves over to Impulse. Tango snaps out of it as Etho taps his hand three times, a signal that has calmed Tango down since before being with him, then moves away from him.
