Hey yall its happening again ;D
Even the doctor was like "hmm doesnt sound right" and I got tested for things and EVEN THOUGH im like 0.001% off from the "cutoff" number its still not enough and my symptoms are being blamed for the first one :P
Other disabled people who are diagnosed with multiple (potentially similar/overlapping things) was it ever a problem where a blatant symptom of one undiagnosed/focus thing was overshadowed by another diagnosed thing that just so happens to cause that symptom as well??
I feel like I would’ve been diagnosed with a few things ages ago if I didn’t have my first one

I remember one time I casually mentioned how I don't like citrus fruits or flavors and someone asked me how I hadn't gotten scurvy yet as if there weren't a dozen other foods that also have vitamin c

money is such an underrated accessibility option.
like people want to think any disabled person who is after money is morally suspect some way, because they're not asking for "treatments" or "accommodations" like a lot of our issues can be fixed way more easily with money. can't drive? paying for a taxi is often one of the more accessible alternatives. can't cook? you can pay more to have prepared food delivered to you. food restrictions? that food straight up costs more money. can't clean? you can pay for someone to do that. house inaccessible? having (lots) of money can help with that, you get the gist.
having money won't make us abled. it also won't stop our symptoms from being distressing, painful, or debilitating. but there's a huge gap in experience between the average poor disabled person and someone who's actually wealthy. you can buy your way out of some of the difficult situations most disabled people are left to rot in. wanting money, needing money, asking for money is pretty natural when it's such a useful tool. why get so weird about disabled people wanting money like i'm pretty sure everyone wants money anyway

context: my major is in my uni's engineering college, but does not have 'engineer' in the title. so both am, and am not an engineer?
whether or not I'm still an engineering student is wholly based on whichever is better for the bit

wishing all crowdkillers a very painful day. u must taste what u inflict.
for real, crowdkilling doesn't make you punk, it makes you a dangerous asshole who clearly doesn't care about the health and safety of those in your community. quite literally the opposite of punk.
last night after getting badly injured by some cis dude during a song about, by, and for lesbians, someone told me it was my "fault for going to the show". no it's fucking not. attending a show is not an open invitation to be maimed.
punk should be accessible for disabled people. punk is largely FOR and BY disabled people. anybody that says "well if you're disabled then you shouldn't go" can fuck themselves into oblivion. it was OUR show. an event put on and performed by disabled queers. FOR DISABLED QUEERS. ALWAYS.
disabled people have just as much right to attend events as you do. in fact I'd argue we have more of a right to be there bc we don't constantly put the general public at risk of bodily harm.
we should be able to attend our own shows without the risk of life changing injuries bc some dude is taking his anger out on a bunch of strangers.
don't get me wrong, I love moshing. mosh all u want, but have some fucking etiquette and remember that not everybody is healthy and able bodied. and they especially wont be if yall keep hurting everyone.
punk is about community. it's about caring for eachother and creating a safe place for people to express themselves. it is NOT about being violent or destructive, or seeing how many innocent people you can mow down. if you do that shit you're not punk, you're just an asshole.

One time I was trying to explain to my boss why AI is bad and ways to figure out if an image was made using AI but I accidentally make it seem like I just *despise* people with polydactyl

This cat-like nebula is sculpted by two massive stars, each over 20x the Sun’s mass. Expanding shells of ionized gas make it glow, while dense regions collapse under gravity, forming new stars—a stellar nursery emerging from cosmic chaos.

Ah yes my evening routine
Doing nothing productive and instead watching a movie, TV show, or various YouTube videos into the night
Then those finish or when I get bored I go to doom scrolling on various platforms watching videos of other peoples happy relationships until I start feeling bad about myself and my life
