Hi guys! Unfortunately I think this au will be discontinued... I'm very sorry. My health, along with my ability to stick towards long-form projects like this one has been declining for a while. I might post more, but if I do, it will be very slow. Again, I'm very sorry! I know there's only a few posts here, but I'll be keeping them up as an archival thing. Thanks for sticking with me in the short time I ran this blog!

Perfectly! perfectly! Your work for these two games is so great! fans of the Gregory Horror show are probably crying with joy, just like me, seeing that the game has not been abandoned . In my country or at least in the city, only my brother and I know about this game... so sad.

Thank you so much! Ever since I learned about Gregory Horror Show, and Naomi Iwata's work in general, I've felt like it fulfilled something inside me. I want to give Dandy's World the same feeling that Gregory Horror Show made me feel!

The doors open with a rusty, rickety creak. Inside is a sizeable waiting room, but no one is there. The front desk itself is covered in cobwebs. All around you are wilted plants, broken tiles, and faded drawings on the walls. Everything is still- that is, until the chair on the front desk moves on its own. Two hands grab onto the dusty desk from below and hoist an uncomfortably familiar creature up.

You stumble back, frightened at the impossible thing right in front of you. He clears his throat as he stands.

“Don’t be frightened, my friend! I won’t hurt you. With these little arms, what harm could I do?”

He reaches out his hand. You’ve seen him somewhere before. You know his name, and you don’t like it. How does he even exist? Reluctantly, you outstretch your hand to shake his much smaller one.

“The name’s Dandy! Dandy the Dandelion! You’re lucky I was here to find you. The others--- well-- they’d tear you apart if they saw a human like you. Time has not been kind to our minds, dear friend.”

There’s a clatter behind him. The flower jolts and glances around. “We can’t stay here, friend. I know a place that will keep us safe.”

The sky is getting dark, and you've been wandering for hours. You've tried to follow the sun to no avail. So instead, you looked to the ground, and have found something promising: candy wrappers. Despite the fact you are getting deeper and deeper into no-man's land, the wrappers continued to be scattered among the grass more and more. Finally, you seemed to reach their source. Behind a chainlink fence was a place you remembered from your childhood. You thought it had only been a dream, but now it stood in front of you: Gardenview Educational Centre.

(OOC) M'kay, I have another question. Can you set down the basic ideas people need to know when they interact with the character? like the stuff you put on the pinned post is a really nice TL;DR, but I want to know some deeper information.

Yea.. So.. to be fair I just kind of made this au because I was on a GHS kick and thought Dandy's World would be much more fun if it was in that kind of vibe and style. Essentially all the toons in the game don't have clones and on are some spectrum of madness because of the solitude. They work the center now. The asks are spoken through a talk piece of a person lost in the forest who's found their way into the Gardenview Educational Centre. I'm in the process of making a sort of introduction comic but haven't finished it yet, so hopefully that will make everything a little clearer!

(OOC) Can I see the designs for everyone in this AU? I love the wretched vibes I'm getting and I need to see EVERYONE.

Sure! Though I don't have official, full-blown designs for all of them just because there's so many, I made a mock-up of my first or second designs of all the characters not in the poster. I also thought I saved the poster characters as their own png, but apparently I didn't so here they are ripped from the Procreate Timelapse!

Dandy's World: Center of Scares is an an au inspired off of old children's horror media, mainly Gregory Horror Show. In Gardenview, there are no monsters; only living cartoons at the end of their ropes!

This is an ask blog! Ask anything about these characters or the au!

Rules

+ Keep it PG! Or, at least, for 13 and up. No outright hate speech or sexual themes! Besides, I'm a minor.

+ You can rp as your own characters or your own blogs, but don't expect chain responses!
