ok send help. I found this reddit post with a bunch of links to a ton of really cool articles on asexuality and resources and that kind of thing (X) but OH MY GOD. I’M DYING. One of them was a link to an article on what sexual attraction actually feels like (X) and NOOOOOO JUST NOOOOO PEOPLE ARE JUST WALKING AROUND LIKE THIS??? Y’ALL ARE CRAZY

I kinda abandoned this blog for a bit but I think I'm going to be making changes to it. This was always a personal blog but people change so some of the content I'll be posting may be a bit different.

I used this blog to cope, work through some hard feelings, and find out more about myself. Now I'd like to branch out more from one specific section of myself to kinda explore more.

Just thought I'd make a little post to give anyone a heads up who paid attention to this little blog at all. 💕

this one liberal dude on twitter made the (correct) take that parents have overwhelming power over their kids and very often abuse it and restrict children's rights and he was ratio'd by conservatives, communists and liberals alike who made comments like "my kids will have rights when they pay the bills" to "aw are you upset mom and dad didn't you get you a lega set for christmas". way to prove his point lol! any criticism of the power dynamics adults and particularly parents have over kids and how it is often used to abuse kids or refuse to let them exist as themselves is drowned in mockery and the idea that parents have absolute authority over children and that any less than that is actually spoiling them.

i said it before: people only care about Children as an ideal. as property. as something that is Innocent and deserving protection From Evil Traffickers but also something Dumb that barely deserves the status of human with autonomy. and its fucking wild how even the staunchest communists think of this as normal, and how people refuse to understand that this dynamic is how kids are emotionally, physically and sexually abused, as well as robbed of their voices and too scared/ashamed to talk about it.

You might be sexually attracted to that person if…

- You think sexual thoughts about the person out of nowhere

- You feel aroused upon seeing the person outside of a sexual setting

- You find yourself wondering what the person is like in bed and what their genitals look like 

- You want to have sex with that person because your body is screaming for sex with that one person in particular.

- Seriously though if you’re already horny and that person is there you will feel all hot and sexually aroused and might drool a bit and fantasies of doing X-rated things to that person will fly through your mind and your body will literally be screaming for that person to take you or for you to take that person. Even just thinking about that person while horny can do this to you.

- TMI but if you get off while fantasizing about you having sex with that person, the orgasms can be absolutely mind-blowing and may even give you leg cramps.

- You really do “just know.”

You might not be sexually attracted to that person if…

- You make a conscious effort to fantasize about sex with that person, mainly to see if you actually want to

- You feel aroused during a sexual situation, but that arousal has more to do with the activities instead of the specific person. Alternatively, you just don’t feel aroused at all.

- You feel aroused at random, but it’s directed towards no one

- You want to have sex with that person because you want to make them happy or are just horny and want to get off with a partner or want babies or want money or literally any other reason aside from your body screaming for sex with that one person in particular.

- TMI but if you try to get off while fantasizing about you having sex with that person, you may get bored and start thinking of other things. Or, you may start fantasizing about that person doing sexual things that don’t involve you in which case aegosexual might be worth looking into.

- You just don’t know.

If the “you might be sexually attracted” list boggles your mind, you are possibly asexual.

If the “you might not be sexually attracted” list boggles your mind, you are possibly not asexual.

If you can relate to the “might not be sexually attracted” list, but also feel like you’ve experienced some of the things on the “might be sexually attracted” list, it may be worth checking out some acespec identities.

After so so so long considering a new name I've FINALLY come to a decision. It really was a challenge... I've gone by Fae on and off with my birth name for awhile now but I think Rat would work WONDERFULLY for me as well.

I feel weird saying I use more than one name but that's what seems to work best for me.

I was hesitant to come out fully for awhile because of a situation I was in but I now feel comfortable enough to be myself fully.

I am a Polyamorous Sapphic Feminine Presenting Non-Binary (They/Them) Neptunic/Lesbian

Meaning I personally don't identify as male or female and I am only attracted to women and other non-binary people.
