Hi, guys!

It’s been ages since I last posted here! Haha! I hope you guys are okay and healthy during this pandemic. So a bit of sharing, I was laid off last June 2020. I finally left the condo I am renting in (condo sharing) in Mandaluyong and decided to go home here in Bulacan. I rested for two months. I took classes on Skillshare. I renovated my room and I finally bought my own PC set.

Last October of that same year I got a freelance job for a 3-month contract. Graphic designer still. And luckily up until now I am still working for them. My client renewed my contract twice last January and this April. I can say that my job now is a blessing because I only have to work for four hours a day, Monday to Friday. It is good for my mental health that I am not super stressed and loaded with a lot of work and I have a lot of free time.

Before when I finished college I was a self-taught graphic designer and I really started as a freelance graphic designer here exactly at home. My excitement that time was logo design. I joined design contests like 99designs. It is challenging but I really do enjoy it. It is fulfilling specially when I win contests and earn prizes in dollars.

But recently I have been down. My passion was lost. My drive is no longer there. I can’t do anything productive and that scares me. I no longer know what is my creative pursuit this time.

A concept for ‘Tongue Trip’, a gourmet, weird flavored ice pops. So I created a twin ice pops and the stick handles form two thick T’s.
