Original art of Frankenstein’s monster created by Mary Shelley. Made with micron pens and watercolor on watercolor paper. I was inspired by a livestream video on YouTube by @mistertylercrook in which he paints his own version of this classic monster. He’s a fantastic artist, one of my favorites in the comic book industry. If you’re not familiar with his work, you’re really missing out. Go check out his social media and YouTube channel.

A watercolor painting of a small Jack O’Lantern I made for Halloween this year using Daniel Smith paints and Legion Stonehenge cold pressed watercolor paper. I used salt to achieve the background effect and am overall pleased with how the colors turned out. I’ve included process photos along with the photo reference below.
