guys do you have any tips for dealing with loss or like fear of loss

i have this cat, she's my baby and i love her more than almost anything

but i get so afraid that im going to lose her one day and so i try to make every day count but it feels like im not doing enough, like if I don't spend every available second with her like im failing her

i guess this isn't the place to really ask I guess but im so scared of losing her and it hasn't even happened yet like

its just tiring and upsetting to be so scared of it all the time and i just wondered if anyone had any tips for dealing/coping

maybe im just nosy but i hate when people say "someone" to refer to one specific person

like my dad said "im going to lunch with someone tomorrow, im going to tell him about (work stuff)" like just say a friend or an acquaintance bro why are you hiding information from the sentence

or like when a friend of mine was secretly dating this girl he'd always say "im going to visit someone" and "im going to someone's house" like brother we all know who it is why are you hiding it

maybe this is unrelatable and im just a nosy person idk
