Okay, thoughts on that moment.

By that I mean when Charlie screamed and had to be pulled back from his body? Actively fighting to get back? Then goes over and gets upset and smacks him back to life?

I think I died for a minute there.

Congratulations to the actors and writers for BRINGING IT. The / shipper trash are very, very happy RN.

On a canon level, her reaction makes sense. Charlie’s already lost one shot at staying with the Library. Seeing him go down must have been like seeing her second chance evaporate right in front of her eyes.

On a subconscious level, it works for Charlie as well. Cupid called her out on it, girl has a fear of failure. She’s failed someone she’s sworn to protect, someone she’s started to actually care about. So she failed a friend, the Library, and herself.

On the shipper level? It’s the most we’ve ever gotten. But we’re like strays, you feed us, we’re gonna stick around and meow for more.

The more I see/watch of the new series the more convinced I am that it's gonna be a four person polycule, and actually you know what, I like that.

I know something like that would require more subtly/discretion since polyamory isn't as accepted by society as even two person queer relationships with same gender partners, and some people may not enjoy not having their ship explicitly shown, but I actually would rather have it that way if needed in this specific instance.

trinity's attempts at buddying up with victoria are sO funny. she's all like, okay, so, the nickname thing didn't work but now it's stuck in my head (there's a non zero chance she has no idea what victoria's name is), how can i make this right? oh, I KNOW! i'll try bragging about a procedure i did and then when she doesn't bite i'm gonna backpedal SO HARD and start insulting her. ... wait. shit. messed that up again. okay, gonna try a different tactic. i'll open with a disarming joke, this went so well last time. THEN i'll apologize. THEN i will tell this 20 y/o with a chip on her shoulder that i really wanna be her friend bc her mom rules. okay, that's done, does she seem like she's on board? eh, maybe. good enough. i will now decide that we're friends enough for me to go back to the nickname she's explicitly told me she hates multiple times.
