1) I'm not sure it's legit and not a scam. One can't be too careful these days.

2) I don't like the feeling of being manipulated into helping others. I have a big heart, and too many people have taken advantage of that fact too many times.

3) I can barely afford to live on my own, living with disabilities in an ableist community.

4) I just feel uncomfortable being asked for money.

I have been on tumblr too long and have gotten too many "My cat needs help" and "my sister needs surgery" to trust anyone coming into my inbox and asking to reblog their pinned post.

I'm sorry if you're legit but this is a tumblr scam as old as time and I am not naive enough to believe people won't try and profit off of other people's tragedies.

People are reblogging vetted GoFundMes and other places to donate and help. Because the donation style is extremely tricky to get out of Palestine, people have also reblog posts explaining the process.

Make sure you stick to vetted GFMs and don't let people with more greed than sympathy scam you by profiting from war.
