The thing is, I knew Robert Stephens (of The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes fame) had married Maggie Smith. I knew that. I also knew that actor Toby Stephens was Maggie's son. I had this information available in my brain.
SOMEHOW my brain managed to not make the connection and completely failed to deduce that Toby Stephens is the son of Robert Stephens until today.
But now that I put them side by side it's kinda obvious, duh.
"The transition from page to screen brought Minerva McGonagall to life in a way that resonated with audiences worldwide. This feat was accomplished primarily due to the incomparable Maggie Smith, whose portrayal of the character added depth, nuance, and a touch of magic. Smith's embodiment of Minerva McGonagall captured the essence of the character while infusing her with a commanding presence and a twinkle of mischief. Her ability to seamlessly transition between the stern yet caring educator and the vigilant protector of Hogwarts further solidified her portrayal as iconic and unforgettable."
