So @paperheartz2007 and I decided to do something a bit different for Inktober 2024, and we decided to do one specifically for the Podcasts that we've listened to! Presenting...Podcastober 2024!!

Also, because we're both really lazy when it comes to drawing daily, we decided to dedicate each week to a different podcast.

Week 1: Fractured - Malevolent

I decided to draw Jane Doe instead of John Doe for this one cuz I like my Jane design better lol. Tho honestly, it doesn't really matter if you see either Jane or John in this photo. It applies for both of them.

Week 1 is for Malevolent

Week 2 is for The Magnus Archives

Week 3 is for The Magnus Protocol

Week 4 is for Red Valley

No no cuz I've seen people talk about this too!! I think some have noticed the voices being quieter after Poseidon kills 557 of the men, but I do definitely think Mr. Jalapeño will pull some shit like this. It would be really haunting if Ody were to be singing all by himself on Calypso's island, while she in turn, as a godess, will have a choir backing her up, taunting Ody (this can also apply to the rest of the gods)!

I had this thought come up while driving home. What if in Epic the musical, the chorus sounds significantly quieter as the sagas continues. With each loss that Odysseus faces from his men, their voice as a whole noticeably lessens. Think about it, at the start of the journey, Odysseus starts with 600 men, and when we reach the end of the ocean saga, he’s left with around 43(I may be wrong so forgive my poor memory)?? Then with the thunder saga, the crew must face the consequences of eating the cattle of Helios which results in the death of them all. Again, this is just a thought and I’m not even sure it would be possible to execute it properly lol.

Also unrelated but Harlan did a fantastic job with this statement!! The body horror was sooo unnerving, and the ending was so creepy as well!

That being said, this statement was also very Malevolent coded with how Alesis' body was slowly being taken over, and how she was essentially being trapped in a new body that took her eyes (this also parallels to Jonah Magnus taking over Elias Bouchard's body and his eyes).

Because I finished episode 40 of malevolent this morning, I need John and Noel to kiss for my sanity: it will make me feel better.

First person for John to properly connect to beside Arthur and he’s immediately down for the count. (Pretty much dead in the next plot but I doubt fully dead. I hope. I will cry if he is dead)

They had a nice friendship and the fact that he wasn’t angry that he was lied to about what John was. And also treated John like his own person and also just their conversations where Arthur repeated what John says. GOD IT WAS SO SWEET.

Feeling incredibly normal about John x Noel today (my two fav guys ever)

I've been thinking about what their shipname would be and I have a few ideas:

So since both John and Noel have something to do with the Dream Lands, I was thinking of something like Private Dreams or Lost Dreams

Adding onto that, John was stuck in the Dark World for a long time, so a shipname that came to mind was Dark Dreams.

And then there's also the fact that Noel smokes, so I was thinking Yellow Smoke could be a cool shipname.

Then there's Joel. But that's so boring lmao
