When we were young, we often asked by our elders what are the dreams or what is our ambition when we are about to transition ourself to adulthood. If I were to look back on my dreams when I was younger, I feel like I was driven aback to what my younger self "imagination" back then. Now that I'm on my 20's, I feel like my dream is starting to transition to more realistic goal. Adulthood may be challenging but it is indeed part of our growth. It may be difficult to change or switch courses when you are in the middle of the semester but whatever plans you have, follow what you have desire. Its really okay to have a backup plans when it comes in achieving your dreams. So dont pressure yourself dear.

A recent international scientific study published in the journal PLOS ONE has shown that the way the brain stores temporary information is different depending on the use one might give to that information in the future.

The research analysed the brain activity of 14 participants through functional magnetic resonance imaging while they were performing simple visual memory tasks on a computer screen. Differences in their brain activity patterns were found between participants who had to answer by communicating verbally or by pressing a button.

The memory that is under study is designated “working memory” and is used at all times. It is the type of memory that allows us to memorise a phone number or a license plate and use that information after (or not). This information is used and processed and, if it proves to be important, stored in the long-term memory.

“When we see where a smartphone is, for example, this information is stored differently in the brain if we anticipate that we will need to reach it or tell someone where it is,” says Art Pilacinski, a researcher at Proaction Lab, University of Coimbra, Portugal.

Some of the brain regions related to working memory (marked in colour in the image above) are closely linked with hand movement and spatial orientation. They become more active if participants know that they will have to press a button to respond, reorganizing their memory storage accordingly.

“This discovery is very important for future investigations about working memory, some of which have been neglecting the typology of the participants’ response. Now we know that this modifies brain activation patterns,” says the lead investigator. “The human brain has evolved to allow movement. This property of working memory anticipating a future action is a great example of this,” he concludes.

The study, “Remember how to use it: Effector-dependent modulation of spatial working memory activity in posterior parietal cortex“, was authored by Artur Pilacinski, Melanie S. Höller-Wallscheid, and Axel Lindner.

BACKSTREET ROOKIE

It's been a while since I watch a romcom story like this but aside from that, this drama has so much to offer. It's a romantic comedy with a realistic plot to it and a slice of life. I also love how the character of Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung has been reciprocated! Ji Chang wook was famously known as an action star while Kim Yoo Jung usually plays an innocent young lady. After watching the first episode, I was really swayed away to the greatness of the leads! I really love the side of Ji Chang Wook as the pure hearted considerate kind manager and Kim Yoo Jung as the pretty fiery baddass lady who only beats people to those who are deserving. This is just a short review as this kdrama is still ongoing.

Probably the most powerful kdrama for me. Although in the real life ethics, a relationship between a psychiatrist and a patient is no no but this kdrama executed properly! (you will be shock!) I'll be giving a review in two days or so.

Anastasia now streaming on netflix!!!

I have heard about this movie before but I never had the opportunity to watch it before in my childhood years. I grew up watching Disney movies the most and I kind of regretted it that I missed half of my childhood without watching this piece. For the very first time, I watched Anastasia yesterday. Although I used to sing her “Journey to the Past” and “ At the beginning”  in every videoke machine, but I never had a chance to watch it. Anastasia is such a remarkable and vulnerable princess. She came from a royalty then a tragedy happened, 10 years later, she became an orphanage and along the way, she’s out to discover who she really was because despite on losing her memory, she still’d believe that she had a family somewhere. Fast forward there he met Dimitri. I love  the hate- love relationship between them and I love how the character development of Dimitri grew.  Although this film is fictional with pure happiness but the real story of Anastasia was a tragedy and saddening. To sum it all off, I hope they still make films like this in the future

A good drama if you want to break with stress or other circumstances. I've been a fan of Kim Myung Soo since his infinite days and looking back on his previous drama, I realized why he chose to land on this role. Love the chemistry between Sol-ah and Hong Jo.

Hi everybody! I am back with a new post. So, I haven't made some of wallpapers right now cause I'm to lazy for it. Hehehehe anyways, let us jump to our devo.

I know it's been a long time since I posted, cause I did a short social media vacation for a while.

My question is:

What are the things that has bothered you lately or what are the things that you wish did not happened to your life?

Just a few hours ago, i experienced pain. A pain that i did not expect to happened. It felt like my world has been twirling. Although i reached the passing mark but it did not reach my expectation or the exected grade to reach the passing rate. During that hour, i realized that I felt like I fall. So, what I did is that, o stumbled, i watched movies and turns my thoughts into prayers. Yes, i admit. I feel like my future wont come into reality but I know that God has bigger promises to me and he will fullfil it. Psalm 45.6 ( God is within her, she will never fall) I know, this is just a beggining, i will rise up

Earlier, I read the passage of Joshua 2 which is the story of Rehab, the protitutes despite on her actions she still honored God.

Anyways. Jumping to the conclusion, she chose not to stay with her past and choose her future to stay with God.

Now, since she honored God, God has an amazing story for her. She changed the way of her life to becoming a mother.

No matter what you have been through, no matter what mess you have done always put in mind that God is bigger than the mess you habe been through. God never writes stories that are sad, believe me.

Your past never hinders you. Focus on who you are today and stay to God all the time.
