On this day, April 17 1984

The last date of Duran Duran's Sing Blue Silver tour was at San Diego California.

Arena by Duran Duran was recorded in Oakland Coliseum.

According to the song titles in Spotify, it was recorded on 4/14/1984, but after some research, they never played on that day! More likely it was recorded today, unless there was a secret show that was never known to the general public. Which would kinda cool, I guess.

Anyway, this is probably my favorite Duran Duran album. Why? The best way that I can say it is that it feels so real and raw to me. At least for me, I feel like I go on a journey as I listen to the album, which in my opinion if an album does that, it did an excellent job, especially for a (mostly) live album.

Side note, the version of The Chauffeur on Arena gives me chills, and it is part of the reason why my blog is named ChauffeurKashmir.

Definitely recommend listening to at least this song, if not the whole album.
