Today I’m grateful for the opportunities that come my way, either by chance, or through me seeking them out.

I’m grateful for my partner and meeting his family and then being so welcoming and wholesome.

I’m grateful for the lovely time I had with my friends, and I’m grateful for the food we got to eat together.

I’m grateful for artists and al the cool art they make.

I am going through it a bit with anxiety and feeling just generally low. I want to start using this space to randomly share the things I’m grateful for. I might not post every day, every week or even every month cause ya girl has adhd but I’m gonna just keep this little corner of the internet that I can control as a place to show more appreciation for the things in life. No matter how big or small. Gonna start off strong

Today I’m grateful for:

My dogs, but also dogs in general. I’m grateful that I get to exist in a world where dogs also exist. But I’m particularly grateful for my dogs and how they bring me comfort when I’m feeling low, and bring me joy when I’m feeling happy.

I’m also grateful for humans that help other humans. Life is getting more and more isolating I find as the years go by because people, including myself rely so much on tech, that it’s making us more dependent on it, and less dependent on in person connection. I’m just grateful that people still wanna help each other.

I’m grateful for all of the doctors and nurses that took care of my mum at the hospital last week, and all workers of the nhs. I’m forever grateful for free healthcare, and the wonderful humans that have dedicated their lives to help the sick and injured. You’re all wonderful people.

Okay one more for tonight, I’m also grateful for my friends and family. I don’t see them as much as I’d like to and I really wanna change that. I feel very disconnected from my loved ones right now because I’ve been letting work overwhelm me. Being a freelance artist is something I’m also extremely grateful for but it’s also something that comes with its own challenges.
