Hard work pays off a little bit at a time! Back in June / July I participated in a 3 week Plexus lead Summer Slimdown Challange. This challenge was a great accountability group. We were required to check in daily to ensure we did our daily requirements of drinking enough water, get active for 20 minutes per day, take our supplements and every few days there were bonus tasks you could do for extra points. As all challenges like this, not everyone stays for the whole thing or dedicates their daily time to these things. But for me I made the time even if there wasn't. I used this challenge to kick my butt in gear and get serious about my health and the journey ahead. And having come in the top 3 for results, was definently a big motivation pusher! Over the 3 weeks of the challange I lost 4 inches off my stomach. I stuck to drinking my water everyday, I remembered to take my supplements and got 20 minutes a day of being active whether it was walking or my kickboxing class.
