Yeonjun wouldn't see the cultural differences as an issue.

He would try to understand Indian culture so he could either impress you or make sure he'd never offend you in any way.

So he would always ask about your culture and want to know more.

If he ever noticed you feeling insecure about your skin color or race, he wouldn't waste any time reassuring you and complimenting you.

It would hurt Yeonjun to see that the person he cared about most, felt insecure in any way, especially about something like this.

He'd definitely try to involve your culture in your daily lives as well, so you would never feel homesick or insecure.

It could be anything from taking you to an Indian-style restaurant to learning traditional Indian-style dancing and then showing it off to you.

Yeonjun would always want you to feel loved since you meant the world to him and he would never let something like race get in between the two of you.

"You're beautiful just the way you are"

Soobin would have some difficulty getting used to the cultural differences at first.

But he would try his hardest to understand the cultural differences and respect them, as he really wanted to be with you.

Soobin would be someone who would praise you a lot and show his love for you with his actions.

He would kiss your hands, arms, and shoulders and in general anywhere with exposed skin.

He would probably also take some online classes and learn how to cook some Indian dishes for you.

Soobin would also love to try wearing traditional Indian wear with you sometime after seeing some pictures of it you had shown him.

In general, Soobin would just be the sweetest most supportive boyfriend.

"Come here, let me kiss you again"

Beomgyu would honestly not care about the cultural differences at all.

Like he would notice them a few times, but he wouldn't care at all.

I think if anything he would treasure the things you guys had in common and would respect boundaries and differences.

If he ever noticed you being insecure, he would honestly be confused?

Because to him, you were absolutely perfect and he didn't see it at all.

And for that, I think at first he would feel a little unsure about how to even fix your insecurities since you were a gem in his eyes.

He would try to make you feel better by making you laugh and then complimenting your beautiful smile.

And then he'd comfort you by hugging you until you felt better.

A lot of the time he didn't even have to say anything, he would just hold you until you could push your insecurities aside.

"You mean everything to me"

Taehyun is someone who would put so much effort into learning about his s/o's culture.

I see him as someone who would look up classes and videos on how to learn Hindu just so he could impress you and make you like him even more.

Taehyun is just so wholesome, so it would seriously crush him if he saw you feeling insecure in any way.

He would sit down and have a long talk with you about it and tell you just how beautiful you were.

He would always make sure to check in with you and make sure you felt beautiful in every way.

And if he ever saw you feeling insecure in the future, he would remind you about the talk you guys had, while holding you.

I also see him as being someone who would love to travel back to your home country with you and learn more about the culture firsthand.

Kai would probably be pretty similar to Soobin in a lot of ways.

He wouldn't have as big of a problem with the cultural difference, but he would definitely feel a little overwhelmed with everything.

Once he had gotten more comfortable with the differences, he would always feel so fascinated whenever you told him anything new about your culture.

I do also see him as someone who would love to try wearing traditional Indian clothing, if you ever showed him a picture of what it looked like.

In general I picture Kai as being someone who wouldn't completely know what to do if his s/o felt insecure.

He would try to comfort you through his actions rather than words, as he wouldn't really know exactly what to say.

He would cuddle extra close to you and make sure to kiss you all over your face if you ever seemed sad.

Yeonjun would accidentally say those three words to his s/o randomly.

It would have slipped out of his mouth, without him even realizing it.

When he did, he felt beyond embarrassed, ready to dig his own grave.

He loved his s/o so much, but he knew it was a little too early to say those words.

After he processed the situation for a second, he would play it off, reacting shocked as if he couldn't believe he just said that.

He'd pretend something came over him, almost as if he had gotten possessed for the duration of it.

So, when you couldn't help but laugh at his incredibly cute reaction, you'd lean in and kiss his nose every so softly, to stop his rambling.

You returned his words with sincerity.

Yeonjun would most likely start giggling, from the entire situation as it was quite an odd first way to exchange confessions.

Nonetheless, he would always treasure this moment, and he would adopt the habit of kissing your nose, from here on.

"Wow... did I just say that?"

Soobin is someone who doesn't always necessarily sit down and really think about his emotions.

He lives in the moment.

Don't get me wrong, the boy can easily express his emotions if he wants to, but he needs to really feel them in that moment.

Soobin would pick you up to go and get frozen yogurt together.

He would hold your hand, swinging back and forth ever so lightly as you walked there.

This action always made you smile, as you knew he did it aimlessly.

So you finally broke, telling him those 3 words you had wanted to tell him for so long now.

Soobin stopped dead in his tracks, as soon as he heard them.

His eyes lit up, and he broke into the biggest smile.

His eyes were squinted together, wrinkling his nose slightly.

And his dimples appeared more prominent than ever in his huge grin.

He would pull you in for an affectionate hug, brushing his thumb back and forth over your arm.

"I love you too, Jagiya"

Beomgyu would most likely not open up about his feelings first.

Beomgyu in general had a tendency to hold back, which is why it took so long for you guys to exchange these sweet words.

It would happen in such a casual manner, yet it would mean everything to Beomgyu.

You'd be cuddling together on the couch, watching a movie on a Sunday night.

You felt so at peace, resting in your boyfriend's arms, just enjoying your free time together.

Without realizing it, you had been staring at Beomgyu for a while, finally catching his attention.

And that's when you told him.

He would be the softest boy in the world.

His reaction would be so wholesome, covering his cheek with his hand, as he was basically dying from how cute you were.

He would cup your cheeks with both of his hands, cooing at you, while squeezing them together.

From here on he would become absolutely obsessed with telling you these words, just so he could hear you say them back.

"Awww... I love you more"

Taehyun would never be the first one to say 'I love you'.

He respects you way too much, and would never force you to feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way.

Instead, he would show his affection for you through actions.

It could be something small like stopping to tie your shoelaces for you when they had come undone.

Or bringing home your favorite snacks, even after working all day.

So, when you finally told him those sweet words, it would be right after one of these moments.

At first, he thought he heard wrong, slightly confused.

But when you repeated the words again, he figured he couldn't have misheard it twice in a row.

He would be a mess, smiling like absolute crazy, trying to cover up his now rose-tinted cheeks.

He would honestly think about it for days on end, replaying those sweet words leaving your mouth, inside his head.

He would probably be too shy to even think of a response at first, but a few days later he would tell you how much he loved you.

"I love you so much y/n"

Kai is the youngest, which does mean he has a limited amount of knowledge about dating and a certain pure image attached to him.

Since he is pretty new to the dating scene, he would be someone who would overthink things a lot as well as develop feelings too quickly.

So, Kai had wanted to tell you his true feelings for a long time but continuously worried about messing up.

So he waited until you said the words first.

Then when you finally opened up to each other, and you finally told him your feelings.

Kai would immediately feel a huge amount of relief.

He would be ecstatic at the thought of his s/o loving him just as much as he loved you.

He would carry such a bright and genuine smile, you couldn't help but feel butterflies in your stomach.

Even though he was relieved, his cheeks would still gleam red, like a bright tomato.

"I love you too!"

So it's been a year..

It's been a year since I last posted on this blog, and truthfully, I didn't think I was ever gonna come back to it.

But recently more than ever, I've started using Tumblr again, and I've been wanting to write for this blog again so badly! My blog wasn't particularly big at the time of my hiatus, but I miss writing so bad. I'm not yet sure when I'll post my first work, as I am a lot busier these days. (To give you an idea I'm in college and I work 2 part-time jobs).

I am also going to expand my blog to more than just TXT! Since I figured it'll motivate me much more. I don't have a finished list yet, but I definitely think I will include Stray Kids and Seventeen. I might add other groups later.

Another thing I'd like to add is that this blog will still not post any smut, as I do not like nor enjoy writing it.

You hit the snooze button once more. You groaned, forcing yourself to sit up in your bed. You covered your eyes, in an attempt to block out the extreme brightness from the sun. Your phone went off again from your nightstand, but this time it was a reminder. 

You were going to the carnival with your boyfriend today. The best carnival you’d ever been to, but it only came for a few weeks in July every year. You had been begging Kai to go with you for months now. You knew it wouldn’t take much convincing. Even tho this boy is absolutely terrified of heights, he agreed to go when he saw how much it meant to you. 

In general, you were excited to spend some time with him. Even though you guys had been in a relationship for half a year now, it was still in a soft and dreamy state. You still got butterflies every time he texted you or whenever he’d show affection towards you. You still got shy when he complimented you or talked about you in front of other people. Somehow you felt as if these feelings were never truly going to go away. Your relationship with Kai was always going to feel a bit timid and dreamy. 

You also felt like you were never going to get used to the thought of your boyfriend being an idol. He was still so young. You both were. You supported Kai with everything, and you respected his schedule and the amount of time he had to spend on his job. You always felt bad when he prioritized you over his work. You had told him a million times that he should put his work first. Any other person would probably appreciate that he was doing these things, but you were worried it was going to put him in trouble. 

Whenever you’d bring these issues up with Kai, he usually just brushed it off, not being worried about the outcome. You felt he should take it more seriously because in reality you really didn’t know what could happen if BigHit found out about the relationship. You honestly expected the worst. They would try to discipline Kai or maybe even force him to end his relationship, to focus on his career. These were very real issues, that often troubled your mind. 

At most, you could do everything in your power, to protect Kai and make sure he took his work seriously, so you guys could stay together. You didn’t want to lose Kai, he meant everything to you. 

You finally decided to get out of bed. It was already 8:30, and you guys had planned to meet at the carnival at 10 AM, so you were in rush to shower, get dressed and get there on time. 

At this point, you were sure you’d be late. You felt bad because this meant Kai had to wait for you. You chewed at your lip as the taxi driver slowly tried to make his way through the gigantic crowd of people that were all headed to the carnival. 

“I’ll get off here, thank you” you spoke up, handing over a 50 dollar bill to the driver. You collected your things and stepped out of the taxi. It was 10 AM now. You ran as fast as you could to the entrance. Your lungs felt like they were going to give out, but you kept running. You huffed and puffed your way over there, when you finally found Kai standing to the side, looking around. 

You couldn’t help but smile, at his puzzled expression as he looked around for any sign of you. You made your way over to Kai, attempting to catch your breath on the way. 

“Hey, cutie” Kai said, reaching his arms around you and pulling you closer for a loving hug. You were immediately met with the familiar scent that your boyfriend carried. It had to be one of the most comforting smells you’d gotten used to. It was somewhat citrusy, probably from whatever hair product he used. But Kai always smelled very aromatic and clean. Almost like the smell of fresh laundry and soap. You embraced Kai for a little longer than usual, this time. 

“You look beautiful” Kai whispered, softly into your ear. As if the sun suddenly got hotter, your cheeks were immediately tinted with a soft pink. You pulled away to look into your boyfriend's eyes. His expression was soft and relaxed like always. Kai pecked your forehead, before intertwining his hand with yours. Hand-in-hand you walked over to the ticket booth. The line was long, much to your expectation. After all, there was a reason why you called this the best carnival of all time. 

It was fairly windy, making your hair fly into your face, every now and then. And the sound of children screaming was almost deafening to listen to. After waiting in line, for what felt like forever, it was your turn. 

“Two tickets please!” you yelled to the lady, trying to overpower all the screaming. You handed over the cash and in return received two wristbands. You were immediately pushed out of line by the people waiting behind you. You glared at the person who almost pushed you to the ground. 

“Okay, what do you wanna try first?” Kai sounded excited, much to your surprise. For some reason, you had expected dread in his voice, but no, he sounded genuinely thrilled. You couldn’t help but feel like Kai was just pretending, to make you happy. But then again, Kai usually wouldn’t bother with pretending for something like this. 

“I think you should choose first,” you said, softly punching his shoulder, earning a smile in return. Kai quickly grabbed you by your wrist and dragged you along in a hurry. You were confused as to where he was going in such a hurry, but when you arrived at the stand, you immediately knew why.

For the last few months, you had seen pictures of some of the prices that were going to be earnable at the carnival, and this one particular teddy bear had caught your attention. Kai always had to endure your whining, because you’d always talk about how badly you wanted one. There wasn’t anything particular about it, that made it stand out. It looked like a normal teddy bear, in a light brown color. It carried a plaid bow and was completely regular in size. 

Kai didn’t have to say anything, you both immediately got in line, ready to shoot down some tin cans. You carefully observed the people in front of you, as it was their turn. You paid attention to any specific technique they used, but you felt lost going into this. Luckily your boyfriend looked as confident as ever. He stepped up the panel and picked up multiple balls. The balls were pure fabric, so you knew this was going to be hard. 

The horn went off, and you frantically picked up the balls and embraced them closely, so they wouldn’t fall. Your first attempt, fail. Second attempt, fail. You simply weren’t strong enough to use enough force to knock down the cans that were diligently stacked on top of each other to create a triangle shape. You felt ashamed that you couldn’t even hit one, and before you knew it, the horn went off again. You were devastated at the thought of not winning one of the teddy bears, but as you were about to sob and complain to your boyfriend, the booth owner started speaking over the mic. 

“Congratulations to number 4! You can pick any price, your heart desires” you were truly in shock. You knew Kai was good at these types of things, but you had been so focused on your own failure that you hadn’t noticed Kai literally destroying the game. Kai pointed at the teddy bear, and the owner handed it over, before congratulating him once more. 

Kai turned towards you with a smirk on his face. He held the teddy bear in front of you. It looked as if Kai expected you to grab the teddy bear from his hands, but instead, you just squealed in excitement and wrapped your arms around his tall figure. You embraced him sincerely, thanking him for winning a prize that truly meant a lot to you. You pulled away to look at him, but he quickly turned his face to the side, trying to cover his face from you. You knew Kai loved getting complimented by you, but he wasn’t particularly very good at handling them. 

You got up on your very tippy toes so you could reach Kai’s face. You carefully placed a soft peck on his cheek, only making it worse for your already shy boyfriend. The connection between your lips and his cheek felt warm. The touch was enough to spark butterflies in your stomach and make you feel dizzy.

After a sweet moment of gratefulness, you continued on, looking for a new thing to try. You were determined to have Kai try the falling tower with you. It was going to be hard, since it was probably the worst thing at the carnival, considering how high up it goes. But nonetheless, you wanted to go and so then Kai had no choice. While waiting in line, Kai was absolutely silent. Almost as if he was just waiting for his death and that it could happen any moment now. The waiting was over and you were both directed over to the seats. Thankfully you were seated next to each other. 

Kai didn’t waste a second with buckling himself. He even triple-checked if it was closed as much as it possibly could. You grabbed his hand, pressing it softly to try and calm him down. Kai seemed almost frantic when the ride started going up. You started to feel really bad that you had forced him into this. He looked beyond terrified, staring down at the ground while the ride continued going higher and higher. 

“Kai, look at me. You’re going to be okay” you were trying your best to calm him down, but you don’t think he even heard you. It was way too windy, and the higher you got, the louder the wind got. The ride finally stopped. You assumed this was because you reached the top, so it was going to drop at any moment. You quickly looked over at Kai, noticing he was already looking at you. 

“I love you” at the exact same time you confessed these sweet words to your boyfriend, the ride dropped. The wind was pushing your hair in every direction and you felt like you had no control over your body at this moment. You hadn’t realized how scary these rides actually were since you’d never went into the falling tower before. And considering you hated it, you couldn’t even begin to imagine how Kai felt right now. Within 10 seconds you had reached ground level and the ride was slowing down again. The sound of an alarm went off and all the seats opened.

Kai got out of his seat within one second and immediately pulled you out of yours. He wasn’t looking away from the ground, only dragging you with him at a fast pace until you were both far away from the ride you’d just been tortured by. You finally stopped and pulled Kai in for a hug. 

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know it was going to be that bad” you explained, voice full of regret. You sheepishly bowed down to your boyfriend, wanting him to understand you genuinely felt sorry. 

“Jagi, it’s okay. Let’s just do something fun, ok?” Kai’s usual positive energy was shining through like always. Even though he looked like a ghost mere minutes ago, getting off the ride. He truly was something else. 

After countless hours of laughing and fun games, you both agreed on grabbing food and then going home. It had been a long time since you last had this much fun with Kai. Usually, you guys would go see a movie or just hang out at your place whenever you had time, but it was rare you guys were able to see each other for this long at a time. It made you appreciate having Kai in your life. Idol or not, this boy was truly amazing and never failed to make you smile. Today was very obvious proof of that. 

You sat down at the restaurant table, waiting for Kai to come back from ordering. Sometimes you felt Kai acted a lot older than he was. And today had been a nice break from responsibilities and duties. Today you had the chance of seeing a side of Kai that he usually didn’t show much. It was a nice reminder to you and it only made you fall in love with Kai even more. As much as you regretted your sudden confession earlier, you don’t think it mattered much. Kai didn’t seem to react negatively in any way, in fact, you doubt he even heard what you said.

Kai returned with a tray in hand, that was filled with delicious food. You both dug into the food right away, almost starving from the long and exhausting day. Somehow after an entire day of running around in the wind, going on rides that literally destroy hair, Kai still looked as stunning as ever. You felt envious at his natural and effortless look. You probably looked like a dead fish right now. Oh and your hair? You gave up on that, hours ago. Kai looked so peaceful, munching at his food. You couldn’t help but smile. 

“What?” Kai asked, looking up from his food for the first time since you started eating. He was smiling as well now. “Nothing, you just look happy,” you said, folding your hands on the table. Kai looked at you in silence for a few seconds, before he finished chewing his food. He took a last sip of his soda, before throwing the rest out. 

“Come on. There’s one more ride I wanna try before we go home”. You raised a brow but followed him nonetheless. It was early July, so even though it was already 8 PM, the sun was only just starting to set. You guys had been dragging each other around to try different rides all day, but this time he was calmly walking, with his hand intertwined in yours. The carnival wasn’t as busy anymore and some of the rides had already closed. After walking for a few minutes, you stopped in front of the Ferris wheel. One of the few things you had completely forgotten about. 

Thankfully the line was short, so you guys didn’t have to wait long at all. You scooted all the way over, so Kai could sit next to you, but he decided to sit down in front of you instead. You were somewhat disappointed. The wheel started back up, and it slowly started transcending higher and higher, stopping often. You felt an awkward silence hit the air between the two of you. These moments were always so romantic in movies, but the silence between the two of you felt weird and heavy. When you were almost at the top, Kai suddenly got up from his seat and wobbled his way over to you. 

“Be careful!” you said, catching Kai’s hand so he could sit down next to you. The sun was starting to set, making the view that much more romantic. You were completely speechless at the view. The golden, almost smoky glow from the sun, stretched across the sky.  It was truly a breathtaking view. You were completely hypnotized. Kai grabbed your hand, making you look in his direction. As you reached the very top of the Ferris wheel, Kai carefully leaned closer. 

His lips brushed yours ever so softly. They were delicate, like butterfly wings. The kiss lasted just long enough that he could inhale your breath, feel the warmth of your skin, and taste some leftover lipstick, that had been slowly peeling of your lips as the day went by. He caressed your cheek diligently, making sure you felt comfortable. You were forced to pull away for air. Your breath was noticeably shaky, as you took a long breath.

“I love you too” Kai whispered ever so softly, flashing a charming smile. The Ferris wheel started moving again, taking both of you down to reality once more.

Yeonjun

Yeonjun was extremely stressed out from overworking lately. 

He was lacking energy and his mood was below anything you’d ever seen before. 

 The second he came home, he threw himself on the couch, groaning at the immense pain running through his entire body. 

“Yeonjun, do you wanna pick the movie today?” 

It was your usual movie night, something Yeonjun originally had come up with months ago. 

This question was enough for Yeonjun to finally snap. 

“Can I just get 5 fucking minutes? You literally don’t do anything all day so just give me some space” 

Yeonjun’s voice was strident, the words piercing through your heart. Your eyes were turning blank and tears were starting to form. Emotions were overwhelming you, as you tried to process what just happened. 

You got up from the couch, leaving Yeonjun alone just like he had asked you to.

You made your way to the bedroom, letting out soft sobs, trying not to awake any attention from the room next door. 

Is this really how he saw you? 

10 minutes passed. 

You heard a soft knock on the door, you immediately tried to collect yourself, wiping at your puffy eyes with your already damp sleeves. 

“Y/n, can we talk?” 

This time around, Yeonjun’s voice was soft and he carried a more relaxed expression. 

 “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you. I don’t know what came over me” 

 You both exchange a few more apologies before Yeonjun pulls you in for a loving hug. 

 “Alright, we can go watch a movie, but you are picking” 

Soobin

Soobin is literal fluff okay. 

So, for him to hurt his s/o’s feelings would be so out of character for him and it would definitely happen on accident. 

You would be cooking up dinner for Soobin. You usually did, since he always got home super late and was always starving. 

You were feeling creative and had decided to attempt a new Korean dish. As much as you felt like you owned the kitchen and you were a decent cook, new dishes terrified you. 

As if perfectly timed, Soobin arrived just as the soup had finished simmering. 

“Mmmh it smells so good” 

Soobin had already taken place at the dining table, ready to munch away at the delicious meal you had prepared. 

As you plated everything and served the food, Soobin’s joyous facial expression quickly changed after taking the first bite. 

The soup flew out of his mouth, just as quickly as it went in. He hastily ran to the kitchen sink, drowning his mouth in water. 

“Jesus Christ, that is horrible”

At this point, you were ready to dig your own grave. 

You got up from the table, poured the rest of the soup into the sink and headed towards the bedroom. 

Soobin overreacted, but that didn’t stop him from hurting your feelings. 

You felt like drowning yourself in Korean dramas and ice cream. 

Soobin showed up 10 minutes later. He looked like a puppy, with his head tilted down and his eyes staring right into your soul. 

“I’m really sorry Jagi, I didn’t mean to upset you.” 

You forgave Soobin after slapping the back of his head a couple of times, in an attempt to get revenge. 

This boy didn’t care and would only hug you even tighter and way longer.

Beomgyu 

Beomgyu is known for being positive and energetic, so whenever he would get mad, he got MAD. 

of course not on purpose, cuz bless this boy 

It was Friday evening and you guys had planned to meet up for dinner since you both were off early today. 

You had taken your time to look especially good for Beomgyu since you both rarely saw each other. 

You were already patiently waiting at the restaurant.

5 minutes of waiting turned into 10 minutes, which slowly turned into 20 minutes. 

You tried calling Beomgyu for the 3rd time now. He finally picked up. 

“Where are you?” 

There were loud background noises and it sounded like Beomgyu was moving around. 

“I’m sorry Jagi, I’m gonna be late” 

“Yeah you already are” 

You were getting annoyed with Beomgyu and the fact that he hadn’t paid attention to time whatsoever. 

“Yeah, and maybe if I wasn’t preparing for a comeback soon, I would be there. Stop being so selfish” 

You were in shock from the words your boyfriend spoke. You ended the call and got up from the table, leaving in a hurry.

Was it wrong of you to be hurt that he was late and that he didn’t care at all?

Beomgyu tried calling you back, but you decided to turn your phone off and just go home. 

After a long and nice shower, you were ready to go to bed, but then you heard knocking.

“Y/n, let me in”

You proceeded to let Beomgyu inside, but your arms were crossed and you kept your distance. 

“I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean what I said. Please forgive me” 

Beomgyu looked exhausted as he attempted to plead for forgiveness. You knew he was being sincere because Beomgyu also rarely apologizes unless it was in the context of a prank.

“This better be a good comeback” 

Beomgyu burst into a smile and immediately attacked you with tickles, causing you to squirm at the touch. 

This boy really could get anything he wanted. 

Taehyun 

Taehyun is literally so sweet and I don’t see him as a person that would ever get mad at his s/o intentionally, so it would definitely happen as an accident. 

You had been preparing for a biology exam for the last couple of weeks. 

Your worst subject.

You were struggling to understand the coursework given and you had decided to ask your boyfriend for help. 

He was on his way over to help you prepare for the exam that was now only a day away. 

He arrived quickly and greeted you with a bear-like hug. He sat down next to you and looked over the coursework you were struggling so hard with. He spent a long time looking through everything, and then he turned towards you. 

“Is this the coursework you talked about?” 

Taehyun seemed confused as if he was expecting something else. You only nodded. 

“Wait, seriously? This is so easy. Even a toddler knows this stuff” 

Taehyun wasn’t intentionally trying to hurt your feelings, but you couldn’t help but feel like he was calling you stupid at this very moment. 

You tried your best to suppress the sudden urge to cry, but Taehyun continued looking through the coursework with a puzzled face.

“You are joking, right? Where is the actual course work?” 

This was enough for you to finally burst into the tears. 

Taehyun’s confusion turned into a terrifying look, almost as if he had seen a ghost.

It didn’t take long for him to realize what he had said, and when he did he immediately felt terrible. He was cursing at himself. 

He wasn’t trying to hurt you and now that he had, he felt like the shittiest person to walk this earth. 

“I’m so sorry Jagi! I didn’t mean it like that. You’re the smartest person I know, so when you asked me for help I expected it to be something like rocket science.” 

Taehyun’s compliment brought a soft warmth to your cheeks. 

“Let’s go over this again, okay? Don’t be nervous Jagi, you’ll do great on your exam”.

Taehyun’s comforting words brought peace to you to your previously stressed mental. 

Kai

Your relationship with Kai was still fresh and you were both still undergoing the shy phase. 

For some time now you’d been trying to build up the courage to ask Kai to go to this book signing with you. 

Your favorite author was in coming to your town, and you were determined to go. Just not by yourself. 

“Kai, can you come with me to this one thing?” 

You lost all confidence when finally asking him, nonetheless, he said yes and you were overcome with joy. 

You made your way to the book signing together, the place was drowning in fans and people waiting outside. You patiently waited in a line, with Kai by your side.

You attempted to reach out for his hand and hold it since the people behind you kept bumping into you and you felt uncomfortable.

Kai only pushed your hand away, his face was bright red at the sudden contact. 

“Don’t do that. I don’t want to hold hands with you, y/n” 

Kai raised his voice slightly more than you were used to and it caught you off guard. 

You faced front in silence, not wanting to bother Kai even more. You already felt hurt by his reaction.

The line moved along slowly, but when it was finally your turn, Kai only scoffed and pushed you forward. 

You were, of course, overjoyed to meet your favorite author, but the only thing you could think about was your boyfriend and the way he had been acting today. 

You bowed to the author as thanks and left the line in a hurry, leaving Kai behind. 

Kai was running up behind you, but you kept walking at a fast pace. A few tears had escaped and were carefully rolling down your cheeks. 

“Wait up” 

You stopped dead in your tracks and crossed your arms.

As Kai noticed the tear stains on your cheeks, he realized what he had done. 

“Y/n, I’m so sorry. I’ve been such an asshole today. This is all so new to me and when you tried holding my hand I just felt so embarrassed”

Kai had his eyes glued to the ground, while continuously bowing to you during the apology. 

You reached out for Kai’s hand placing soft kisses on his knuckles. 

He mimicked your action and made sure to hold your hand the entire way home.
