On another note, I'm so sad that this day was desecrated by the live action trailer. I think the reason that swords were switched for guns is a mix of actors not knowing how to use them and how gory the scenes would become if they did use them. Personally, I dont think it's an awful decision for yjh and ljh to use guns as a work around in some scenes(yjh is an all-rounder so using one is well within his abilities and I don't think it far fetched that he would add variety to what he teaches ljh over regressions to keep her safe in more than 1 situation).

What I DO have an issue with is whether this will be a permanent switch (witch, face it, it's probably gonna be). Kim dokja's one and only weapon is unbreakable faith, non-negotiable. Him using a gun just doesn't work. There's also so many scenes where using a gun won't make sense or takes away from the impact of the scene .10th scenario, kaizenix, ALL OF MURIM for God's sake, YJH vs secretive plotter, the list goes on. I had bad a feeling about how this was gonna play out when I mentioned orv to a classmate who had no clue what it was and answered "oh yeah, did u know that theres a live action version that's coming out that's supposed to be less gay". Things like this are why I avoid live action versions of books I like.

In my head, I can see Kim dokja finding this trailer and cringing over how OOC yjh mainly using a gun is with the rest of us.
