i can't believe how jiip dips out of the plot for the entirety of the second arc, only to come back with a wife, and the entire power and resources of the granute government to kick lango out. that poor man is constantly handling the day to day of two business (the snack company AND the drug trade), only to get hit with horrible news each time he appears

I mean, Lango DID tell him that he and Shiita were going to have to find good political marriages! he's just doing what Big Brother said. :)

I think I saw Kuro's speed compared to Soru at some point. Kuro may have stumbled into getting the speed down but didn't bother getting the rest of his specs to handle it because, as seen by his whole plan, he likes taking the easy way out and doesn't mind causing a massacre, even if his men die.

35? Try 45. Zenkaiger is an anniversary series for Super Sentai, and those gears are made to represent every season. Even if the guy won't use all of them, the possibilities are pretty crazy.

I think it's fair to say that Sentai has achieved maximum... something with the debut entrance and henshin for Zox "TwoKaizer" Goldtweaker.

Newsflash, but pretty much all these awards are handed by people who, quite honestly, are completely out of touch and barely know about film anymore.

You know, one of the problems I have with a few of his loses is, how... cheap they are. In Kanto, he was one lighting strike short of being cursed (kidnapped by team Rocket and had to use Bulbasaur and Pidgeotto to escape, and couldn’t go get a new member, like, likely a Tauros, the ref considered a Sleep Powder a fainting, AND had to use Charizard back when he was still a dick), in Sinnoh, he lost to a guy who came out of nowhere with two legendaries and without explanation, and in Unova lost to a complete moron with five Pokemon. 

I don’t mind him losing, but, come on, don’t ruin his credibility.

Even without using the energy to try to explain that the anime and games are very different universes, or that being a “good” trainer isn’t decided only by win/loss record, let’s just tackle the argument “he never wins the leagues”

He Has won a league. The Orange League

now, a common response to this fact is that it “doesn’t count” because it wasn’t set up like the other tournament style Leagues you see in the other regions, Which, YES THAT’S TRUE >:3c The Anime usually does leagues very differently than the games, instead of having to only defeat 4 high level trainers and the Champion on top, to win a regular anime-style league you have to come out on top of a tournament of possibly hundreds? and every other participant MUST also be at a decently high level of skill to have collected the same amount of badges. it’s MUCH harder to win the anime-tournament style league than stocking up on items and winning 5 battles.

funnily enough, the Orange League IS different because it’s actually Much closer to what a player will find at the end of victory road in most of the games, (stretched out across a whole season for plot purposes of course) w/ 4 anime-only OCs being called “orange crew gym leaders” instead of being called “the elite four” and then a Champion at the end.

lemme just repeat that:
