If I see another person saying Eddie is coming back I'm going to blow chunks.

This person is very clearly part of the GA but PLEASE. STOP IT.

Let me break it down for you.

Eddie is shown multiple times that when he's scared, he runs away. He doesn't stick around trying to play hero or put himself in danger.

In a crucial moment when the bats are very clearly not going away, he runs. He runs away. But then he has this moment of clarity. He finds courage. He stays to help the party and fights to buy more time for them, which is a stark contrast to the other times we've seen him cowering in fear and running away from his problems.

It's disrespectful to his character.

Bringing him back would undo all of this. He died a HERO. Let him have that moment goddammit.

And it's important for Dustin's character. He's going to be grieving this season and it's not just gonna go away. We've seen him on his way to the cemetery and how he's adopted Eddie's looks and fashion choices.

Eddie meant a lot to him and it's important that Dustin gets this time to come to terms with Eddie's death and grieve him properly.

If they did bring him back, it's lazy writing. It wouldn't be a plot twist or interesting to see. What I want to see is grief being properly portrayed. Bringing Eddie back is the same thing as saying "Oh yeah we made him have this moment of courage to save the party and we put Dustin through endless amounts of pain but don't worry he's coming back as a vampire."

A possible rescue mission?

I mean, the military have been known to show interest in the UD before, and El was used as a tool to try and learn more about it.

Since she's in hiding..if they can't find her, they might look for other means to try and learn more about whatever is going on.

A lot of Hawkins is bugged so you know they're going to learn about Will pretty quick. And if this connection between him and Vecna grows, it's gonna be known.

If there's anything you need during the fight with Vecna, it's Will Byers. They're going to see him as a weapon- a means to either learn more about Vecna or kill him.

El doesn't NEED a floatation tank in order to find people or go into the void, so it's not like the tanks are only for her.

The tanks help you focus on your emotions and stuff, right? And Will's connection is mostly based on a feeling or emotion. So there's nothing stopping the military from kidnapping Will and putting him in one of those tanks and nearly killing him because he's never been in one before and we don't know what that could do to him.

And Mike wearing a military uniform just makes this even better.
