Working retail for a decade has done many weird things to me but one of the weirdest is that I’m looking forward to working tomorrow because it’s Friday the 13th.

It will be a more peaceful day because the superstitious people will not be out and the superstitious adjacent people will not be out. This often results in fewer of the more … eccentric customers being about.

The only potential snafu is that the tourists are about and they often do not know what day it is or even what country they are in.

Between my Terraformer Starter deck and the Booster packs I currently have three out of the four Scar/HoTgUy cards with art by @ink-ghoul including both the collabs with @cocoabats So pretty!!!

I was excited enough to find the holo card in a booster pack only to turn it over and find the signed card underneath!

I have more booster packs on the way because I need all the bits of paper!

I only started playing Minecraft, and watching Hermitcraft, just over a year ago. I just received my Hermitcraft TCG cards having given in when CREO Cards sent me an overstock e-mail. Worryingly excited about my little bits of dead tree.

Living and working in a rural area has me hating the fact that my car has no CD player. It’s a tech marvel that it receives FM, DAB, Bluetooth and has a USB but that only helps if there is signal for it to receive. On my way to work FM, DAB and mobile signal are patchy to non-existent. Had to dig out my old laptop to rip some CDs to upload to my phone as the laptop I use to play Minecraft and do zoom meetings won’t communicate with it’s own disc drive.

So the other night I couldn’t sleep because apparently my mean internal monologue was being guest voiced by TangoTek so I ended up writing a poem about my accent drift and then I slept like the dead

If you heard yelling a little while ago that was me politely asking an ID:10T if he was really trying to scam people over the phone at 7am. I have to go work an actual job now

In July we had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to Albert. He had had health problems since at least October and he was not himself anymore. I wish we could have done more but at least he had a good five years with us after he was rescued. I miss my chatty little buddy even if his ability to say hallo creeped me out
