I watched you,

Watched you adorning her hair with pink orchids,

Wondering if you were doing

while still remembering that they were my favourite too.

I watched you take her hand in yours,

while there was no one to hold mine.

I watched your life as it grew into a beautiful story,

while mine was stuck in a limbo.

I watched as your world turned colorful,

while mine turned grey and ashen.

I watched you live your life to the fullest,

while I died day by day, little by little.

I watched you live,

and I stopped living altogether...
