I’m SO happy, and I actually decided to get my Half Blood Prince book autographed!

So to keep that memory forever I’m going to write it out here :p

She was at Pyrkon on Saturday, photos were 10 to 10:30. I got on a train to Poznań Główna on 7:14 and arrived 7:37. I had my ticket pass on me since I was at Pyrkon on Friday too ( though a friend actually exchanged the tickets to ticket passes on Thursday )

I quickly got to the building, asked around a bit and headed to the photo and autograph area. By around 7:55 I got there and meet a few other Potterheads that were early. We all sat in a circle and bonded over HP while waiting. It was so lovely! Around 8:15~20 more people started arriving, and after a while there formed a little pre-queue. About 9 they stopped letting people in, and a queue outside started forming ( the area was on 2nd floor so I saw it from the window )

Near 10 ( at that point we stood up to the normal queue, I was at the very front so I saw Bonnie walk in later 🥹 ) they let them in, but I’m pretty sure at least half of them didn’t manage to get a photo because it was only 30 minutes and there were a lot of people.

Even though everything was fast, Bonnie was so nice, she greeted me and then wished me a great day! As soon as I got a photo I walked to the autograph queue

Autographs were 11-12, but unfortunately there were around 15 minutes of delay so on 12 the queue closed right before me and a few other people. We were on the front :,))

Gżdacze ( Prykon’s helpers that were assigned to her, and the area ) said that if we want we can wait for the second round, so the people ( mostly those who were with me at the front ) walked to the wall to sit there. The second round would start 5 hours later at 17 so we had a LOT of waiting. The 2 friends that I made at the photo queue had another thing to go to so I said I’ll spot for them :)) they bought me a sandwich because I mentioned I was hungry >3< I ended up laying on the floor and dozing off for around 2 hours, with short breaks to go to the toiled or to refill my water bottle ( people that was determined to stay and queue till 17 would watch my things till I got back )

Gżdacze also gave everyone pieces of paper we can write our names on so that Bonnie knows how to spell it .

After the event my friends went to ended, they switched me so that I could get some fresh air.

Then I came back 20-something minutes before 17 and everyone already moved from sitting at the wall to standing in the right place. I found them and walked to them to the beginning of the queue. We chatted till Bonnie came to the signing table, everyone clapped, I had my book ready and got my autograph!

It was amazing 🥹 Everything was so worth it. Every hour spent waiting. My back, legs and shoulders hurt XD but nothing too bad, I was prepared to wait a whole day

remember when harry’s clothes were always too big for him because he was a stick of a child. remember when ron hit a growth spurt, ended up taller than half his siblings and realistically, all his clothes became too small. what if they just- what if they swapped

little tiny harry having clothes that were given to him by someone who loves him for the first time, having clothes that actually fit him, having clothes that feel like family.

lanky youngest son ron getting clothes that have barely be worn (because dudley got everything he ever wanted and had too many clothes to count, let alone wear regularly), trousers that don’t stop above his ankles, clothes that are only his and not bill and percy and fred’s first.

harry and ron started swapping clothes and never stopped. they are now fifty and don’t know who owns what. it is a reoccurring issue

A fun thing I noticed just now ( because I share a birthday with her and I know some fun facts about it ) is that Dolores Umbridge was born on the International Dog Day ( August 26th )

The lady whose whole office was decorated with cats, and who has a cat patronus… was born on the biggest Dog day of a year :p

I’m re-reading Order of the Phoenix at the moment, and can we just take a minute to appreciate Fleur Delacour?
