I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

What if a not Night Na'vi bonded with a night ikran? could it be possible? how would the Alyara react??

It is possible, just as it is with any Na’vi and a mountain ikran or a skimming, the thing is that you can only tame one in the homelands, and the only way you can get there is…with a night ikran. So basically you’d need the Alyara’s blessing to get one.

The thing is when you tame night ikran’s, they don’t just see you as their rider, it’s that they treat you as another ikran (socially speaking). This is why the night Navi iknimaya isn’t just about joining the clan; it’s about joining the colony as well.

do you know what's going on with nin3kyuu? their Instagram is suddenly empty and they seem silent on other platforms did something happen??

Unfortunately Nin3 had to leave bc she was getting harassed on IG after there was a whole fiasco with Exxo (which I still have no comment on). She and a number of other avatar fanartists (like myself) started getting random DMs from minors who were asking/interrogating us about our political views surrounding the Palestine/Israel conflict.

There were other reasons too, but it boiled down to people being very toxic towards her in the fandom. I’m still so mad at those who drove her and her awesome Mountain Na’vi lore away. I’m gonna miss her, but I completely respect that she did what she felt was necessary to maintain her mental health and safety.

do night ikran and night navi have some weak points, weaknesses in general ?

Yes indeed!

For xenicas:

1. (of course), they’re blind. So if there’s a bomb that needs diffusing and Rini is our only hope, she’s gonna need a little a little more than “cut the red wire” if the inner workings are full of ‘em.

2. They have sensitive hearing, so xenicas have to be super careful with their ears or they can go deaf. It’d be agony if Rini was sitting next to one of Scoresby’s depth charges and other sound weapons.

3. More of an inconvenience they pose to others, but they’re insanely stubborn and temperamental. So they’re only smart when they want to be. And since you can’t make tseheylu while flying with them, you have to train them like dogs and horses.

And Night Na’vi:

1. Voracious appetites since their more susceptible to starvation (I have a precious post about it if you dig for it). They can die of hunger in as little as 9 days.

2. Sensitive hearing (like ikrans)

3. Photosensitivity

4. And the cultural stuff like “no killing” and “no walking on the ground”

what if a Na'vi, blind either from birth or lost their sight, bonded with a night ikran? could the two be bonded for longer?

Yes, they could still be bonded. It’d just be a challenge at the iknimaya since, Yknow…kinda hard to do that without sight. But in these cases, clan members will try to help since choosing an ikran isn’t just a right of passage but also is required for Alyara lifestyle since an ikran can only carry two adults for so long.

Is banishment considered a harsh punishment? What other forms of discipline are used, light or not (aside from cutting off body parts)?

I'm trying to guess what Nikea could possibly do to be cast out of the Alyara. Did she do something against the laws or was it something different?

Banishment is considered one of the harshest punishments, especially for Night Na’vi since they’re all about community within the clan. But there are other harsh punishments such as forced auto-cannibalism and sterilization.

In my fic, (which I’m not sure if you’ve read), Nikea chose to leave, but given the circumstances of why she left, she can never go back and remains an exile.
