A review of Ruin and Rising

I flew through this book and almost couldn’t put it down! Ruin and Rising is definitely the standout of the series with it’s fast pace with multiple twists and turns and with a cast that really have started to sprout true found family from the seeds sown in the previous two books.

A review of Siege and Storm

Siege and Storm is at times funny, at times stressful but remains just as enjoyable as the first one. The introduction of all the new characters to the core cast creates a very entertaining dynamic and adds both drama and comedy.

A review of Shadow and Bone

Whilst not an outstanding story Shadow and Bone is a nice and easy read that really picks up in the last ca 100 pages with a with a narrator who’s inner monologue at times is funny in that self deprecating way.
