I mean, I don't think you're wrong. I'm happy that TCOAAL was made and feel vindicated that something made to my specific tastes in media is so popular. But both fans and antifans are pretty ridiculously toxic over it.

I guess fans of this type of content are so used to getting shat on that we're a bit too enthusiastic to rub its success in people's faces. But we should probably try a bit harder to actually enjoy this game on its own merits.
