today was a rainy day & i almost stayed home but then i said am i really going to let rain stop me from living my life? so i went to the flea market. and one of the vendors there had two beautiful build-a-bear frogs for a good price and i said oh my god i want one.... but i have too many plushies..... i sent my sister a snapchat about it and she was like OH I REALLY WANT ONE ACTUALLY so she's getting one for her birthday in a few weeks and i get to enjoy its company in the meantime. i'm glad i didn't stay home today. very tired though; walking to the bus stop in the rain and then spending a couple hours walking around a big busy market and then walking in the rain again.... exhausting tbh! worth it but oof

feeling so #GrownUp today. i'm making pulled pork (normally when i buy pork i just chop it up & fry it on the stove cuz it's quick n easy! not this time; we're doing a low n slow oven roast with a sweet n savoury dry rub babyyyy) and did some ~DIY Home Maintenance~ (tightened the toilet seat; it's been loose for a while & i finally said "surely i can fix this" & looked it up & did it). i am so independent and capable i can do anything. just don't ask how the job search is going
