I didn’t plan to respond to your comment on the one rant, but i was referring mostly to twitter camilizers. AND, it wasn’t about Camila. It was about 5H and how camilizers have been trying to beat them down since before Camila left and how unfair it is. Obviously Camila has been in a few positions herself, but 5H haven’t deserved any of theirs either. It wasn’t one sided because it was about something specific, it wasn’t starting with one thing and making it a witch hunt, it began and ended as her fans always trying to make any situation of theirs about her. 

And while you’re entitled to an opinion of your own, and I as a normal human being respect it, it wasn’t about harmonizers, it was about camilizers. That’s it. But, it’s whatever.

It’s amazing to me that people (aka camilizers) will use her to tear down 5h every chance they get. And that they will use any 5h moment and make it about her.

5H doesn’t want to give her a hiatus to do HER solo shit or to continue making music while she gets to go venture on her own and make herself bigger than the group (at the height of their career together) while she isn’t even doing the respectful thing by telling them about it, and they’re monsters. So she leaves and they’re still monsters but she’s so “brave” for leaving such a “toxic environment”, you know the one that made her famous and known.

5H works out amongst themselves the ability to work together and individually without any issues and all of a sudden they’re hypocrites because they didn’t want Camila to do that. Even though there were no secrets or blurred lines between them.

But camilizers take and once again make it about Camila, they say that they’re gonna flop without Camila because the gp cares more about her (but let’s not talk about the fact that because of rumors and silence that took place on their part and the fact that she had a solo song which made people curious and most of the 5h fandom left with her when she did because they were pushing for her to be solo and she also has more famous friends than the rest of them and epic backing her more than they ever did 5H...) and they basically were betting on 5H failing, individually as well as together since them all because Camila left. They made it about her as always. Saying that she made 5H, which is true. She made 1/5 of it, not all of it.

So then today when they announced a hiatus (which could be short term or long term, only time will tell) once again they made it about Camila. Saying that it’s their karma and Camila’s good karma that they announced it. Saying that they knew it would happen and it was “only a matter of time”, turning it into a meme and a bash session on 5H because they believe that’s what they’ve done to Camila this last year. They can never let anything be just Fifth Harmony’s. Never. And it’s sad.

It happens with groups. Hiatus. It’s normal. Sometimes they never come back. Sometimes they do come back. But when you’re creatively stifled and let down by a label constantly you want to explore what you can do on your own. Camila got a taste of that earlier than they did and quit. And she got a bigger taste. They’ve all done stuff individually but for the four of them, there was never any bad blood about it, they kept each other in the know (they’ve mentioned it before and of course camilizers took it as shade towards Camila because she kept her stuff from them). This could be good for them though and that’s what people gotta see. It could be good for them together as well as individually. They could come back a year or two from now and be stronger than ever and be able to genuinely create together without being under the thumb of Epic constantly trying to puppeteer them. It could be 5 years. It could be 20 like some of the groups from the 90’s or 10 like some from the 2000’s. You never know. But a lot of factors go into decisions like that. They could feature on songs for each other. Or do a reunion tour or show or album. It’s unknown and it has bother to do with Camila. She made her decision and the hiatus only involves Dinah, Ally, Normani, & Lauren. Just them.

For me, I wish them individually nothing but the best, same as I did with Camila. There is nothing but a clear road with no expectations and tons of potential and creativity in front of them. I’m sure they’ll be fine. But if you’re one of those people who like to make a groups progress and/or success after a member leaves about that member, grow up. Look at the full picture and understand that the success is/never was about the lost member. It’s about the curiosity that people have once something like that happens. On both ends.

Just wish them luck and move on. If you don’t like them don’t comment on it. If you have been nothing but negative towards them (like bitch ass Dan Wooton and his need for attention and to try and tear them down because he favors Camila and she didn’t dodge his questions about them) then shut up and move on. Period. They don’t need your negativity.

Since some of you seem to think that me being concerned that her solo career has so far followed the same patterns, means that I don’t support her. She got my $10 and I’m probably gonna be getting the vinyl too despite not being in love with every song. 👍🏽

Lmao @lovelovatojauregui that post was nothing about live performances. If you read it correctly I said that once they left and when their albums came out they were/are a hot comadity. And Zayn being low-key and not wanting to do live performances has nothing to do with how well his music performs. I wasn’t saying anything bad about Camila, all I said was from the beginning I was concerned that her solo career would be like Zayns. And so far it’s pretty much exactly the same. Nothing to do with performances or being low-key. Nothing to do with any kind of anxiety for either side, it was purely on their music and their teams. But you have a good night.

My biggest concern with solo Camila was that she was gonna have a career like solo Zayn. The only difference so far is that his very first single went number one while it took her a couple tries. But she had a number one album/single (same as him) right out the gate, something neither group of theirs achieved during their time with them. She had many interviews on TV and covers for magazines, the same as him before and after their albums dropped and even as soon as pretty much immediately after they left the groups. Many live/festival performances.Much better promo individually than their groups did. But only one song (outside of IDWLF) was popular on his album. Yeah there was one or two other ones that had radio play but they didn’t soar at all the way that pillowtalk did (and I still hate that song). And so far that’s kinda what it seems is happening with Camila. 

That was my concern. Because everything is happening the same way and at this point Zayn is basically known only as the guy who quit 1D and GiGi’s boyfriend. That’s pretty much it. And Zayn is on a better label than Camila is. But after the first year following the release of his album it’s almost like the general public, which both sides are convinced actually had the bigger impact on the success over the streaming parties and buyouts, stopped giving a damn about what he was doing. I’m concerned that will happen with Camila. Cause the same stuff that was said about Zayn is being said about Camila. The hard worker, joy to work with, etc.

I don’t know. I hope I’m wrong, but it kinda seems like she’s taking the same route. Not everybody leaving their boyband/girl group can be Michael, Justin, or Beyonce. It’s impossible and that’s what they were being compared to. Hope it wasn’t the kiss of death for their careers, especially Camila.

This. This is what matters. This is what they need. It isn’t each other. It isn’t a feud. It isn’t even to be friends (or friends again, whatever). It’s to be living out their dreams, no matter what/how the charts are telling them about their “success”. It’s being on stage, singing songs they enjoy singing and seeing an audience, no matter the size, singing it back to them. It’s all of them. Normani, Ally, Dinah, Lauren, & Camila. Together or apart. THIS. This was a defining moment for them and when they step on stage and sing a song that they’re proud of in any way and an audience of 10, 100, 1000, or 10000 people sing it back to them with just as much passion, it means that they’re doing something right. They’re impacting someone’s life. And they don’t need to be on the same stage to do it. They don’t need public interaction to mean something to each other. But this is what matters. Now if fans on both sides of the spectrum and the media would take a step back and realize that, they’ll all flourish in ways that you wouldn’t imagine and whether the charts reflect that or not.

I still feel like this. It’s pretty gross. His social media is basically 100% Camila. He travels with her everywhere also. Further proving my point that she’s likely his only client because if he had others it would be difficult af and insulting as hell for him to be all about Camila all the time. 

Truly believe that Roger has some sort of sick obsession with Camila. I’m actually kind of concerned about it. She’s clearly his only client and that too, is concerning. I don’t know. It’s just weird.

I understand your rant about Camila fans lifting her and bring 5h down, but 5h fans do the same thing too. Honestly both fandoms are toxic which is why I left a while back.

Oh I know they do. But 5H & Harmonizers have a valid reason to be pissed off at Camila and her being successful in any way because of what happened. Camila’s fans have made up reasons to be pissed at 5H & Harmonizers.

But generally speaking, while I do know and understand that Harmonizers do have a strong distaste for Camila & hatred for her fans, her fans talk a lot more shit and come up with a lot more reasons to shit on 5H and the success they have/had and they attribute all of it to Camila which is bull. But, fandoms in general are toxic. I hate hers though, personally. They’re annoying.

It irritates me that it took a difiant team/song doing well for epic to increase promo for it and Camila and boost the shit out of her as an artist but 5H has been making them money for years and they don’t get shit. They were gonna drop them when Camila left but they were fought for and in return of having to keep them they just ignore them and screw their chances of succeeding as a four piece group.

Also wondering when they’ll realize that it’s more them than the general public that’s boosting her numbers. They keep buying multiple and gifting multiple copies of Havana as well as streaming like crazy to boost it.

I like the song and I’m proud of her and her success but it’s them not the general public that are keeping those numbers afloat.

I really hope that Havana isn’t her pillowtalk. Cause no other Zayn song except IDWLF came close to reaching that peak. And her fans are doing the same as his fans did when he left 1D.

I’m a fan of her (as I’ve always been) but not her methods of reaching this point. And I will have major issues with her fans. They aren’t all bad but majority are. They act like babies if 5H does something that they claim is shady and if harmonizers mention them or Camila but that’s what they do every time Camila reaches a new achievement. They bring them both up and talk down as if Camila wasn’t in 5H. They do a great job of practing that “love only” that they preach. Idiots.
