Genuinely the most unhappy I've ever been with my art was when I was making fanart just to get traffic through my accounts, just making weird art now and lit the post of angels talking about fucking a celltower has more notes than my individual fanarts got on tumblr. Tumblr is also better for my mental health on the value of my art = notes topic because it doesn't show me my creator statics the way other places do. like. I promise you can make stuff just for yourself and people will enjoy it. And even if they dont, you've now got something YOU felt worth your own pride

So a free tool called GLAZE has been developed that allows artists to cloak their artwork so it can't be mimicked by AI art tools.
AI art bros are big mad about it.
