Witch Revision: Moon Phases
Using and harnessing the phases of the moon is an important part of witchcraft as the energy of the moon changes depending on it's phase. Here's a mini guide to the phases I made using these sources 1 2
New Moon (Aka Dark Moon): This is when the moon is entirely dark/hidden. This is a great time to do anything relating to the subconscious mind such as dream work or divination, but is also a good time to start new things, such as spells related to new beginnings or relationships.
Waxing Moon: This is when the moon starts to reappear starting from the right hand side. This is great for spells relating to growth or abundance, and many also recommend glamour spells during this time.
Full Moon: The moon is the most powerful during this time as the moon is fully visible. This is the perfect time for completion, but the full moon is great for pretty much all spells as it has so much energy. Waning Moon: This is when the moon starts to disappear again, and you can only see the left hand side of the moon. Spells relating to release and cleansing are ideal for the waning moon as you prepare for the new beginnings of the new/dark moon.

Witch Revision: How to Cast a Circle
This is just a basic way to cast a circle that I found from looking at a few websites 1 2 If any of this info is wrong please tell me so I can fix it!
A circle is an invisible, spherical area around a person in which energy increases, providing a space for a witch to work. It both protects from unwanted energy and concentrates the energy within. This concentrated energy cannot leave the circle if you lose focus.
Step one: Choose an area for your circle. Ensure the space is tidy and clean (tidying drives away negative energy) and cleanse the space
Step two: Use a compass to find the cardinal directions and (optionally) place an item representing each element in the correct position. (Earth in the North, Air in the East, Fire in the South, and Water in the West.) Step three: Call upon the elements and the guardians of the directions (or any other deity you may want to call upon.) Use either a wand or your index finger to point in the directions as you call upon them. You can also call upon the element of spirit if you want.
Step four: Your circle is now complete! If you want, you can acknowledge the circle is cast by saying it out loud. To close the circle, acknowledge each element in backwards order and once you get to the start again, turn widdershins (anticlockwise) and visualise the circle fading as you go.
