Example is Ural x Venice. I feel it might have a lot of potential but they are SO different in values actually.

Incompatibility:

- Venice values human life above all types of living creatures, Ural sees humans as food.

- Ural cares about magical creatures very much, Venice does not actually.

- Ural thinks Venice is kinda cringe and uncool, Venice thinks Ural is a superficial “mean girl” man.

- Venice does not date other vampires. They have to be at least part human.

- Ural thinks Venice is disgusting because he fucks old men. Venice thinks Ural is disgusting because he fucked Imperio.

Potential:

- They are very different and they are both very similar in the sense that they are two hypocrites who have selective empathy based on their own interests. Change will benefit them both. Being together will benefit their both.

- Popular x Outcast is a trope I really like.

- Venice is into bdsm and Ural’s bestial form is a dog. Imagine the pet play potential. (I mean visually, not literal bestial form sex plz)

-They have a sort of friendship/rivalry dynamic that I really like when choosing ships, although I originally thought of them as just allies.

- Both are tremendously intense and romantic, Ural believes in eternal love (something that Imperio promised him and then didn't fulfill) and Venice constantly seeks that, only in mortal beings (he takes care of the humans he forms a couple with until they die of natural causes).

You know what, I definitely need to do something w their relationship, I dont know if it will turn romantic but they do need their own moments.

Very Venice vibe post I saw!

He's not really surprised, but it hurts every time. For Venice, pain and loss are part of love.

He immerses himself in mourning with equal dedication as in joy. His appreciation for his own emotional pain isn't sexual (although he does enjoy BDSM); it's a statement against his own race. Venice rejects the superficiality and hedonism characteristic of the vampire identity.

But isn't everything he does (even his own rebellion) in itself a pursuit of his own pleasure? Probably.
