i want to say a few things since my ask box is FULL of some questionable and fucked things

• no i don't really care if y'all like me or not, nor if you agree with my opinion. you have yours, good for you, i'm glad to know that.

• no i don't stan dannie, because there is nothing to stan to begin with, and i don't particularly like her (for a few reasons that i'm sure some people here know about it and agree with me).

• no i dont think editing her out of a picture is the scandal people want to make of it. no one bat an eye when people edit tom holland from pictures with zendaya so i don't see how it's different in this situation.

• no i dont agree with sexist and racist tweets against dannie (even tho i never saw one by my own eyes since i have decent mutuals on there)

• and for the anons who decided that, since my post on plainclothes and tom, it would be soooo cool and edgy to send me dozen of death and rape threats and still keep sending it to me, just for your information, i don't care. it doesn't make me anxious, doesn't scare me, and certainly does not hurt me nor makes me sad. you just look like a fool for me and my friends but keep going if that makes you feel better!

generally i have a lot of respect for tom for being chronically offline and keeping his life private and whatnot, but i do wish he'd post more. him not physically being at the premiere doesn't bother me because i know he's booked and busy, but just one ig story would be awesome.

exactly, i don't have any problem about him being a private person, but in my opinion you can still be private and post a little. he was so much more active before tbosas. i miss that time

I'll add something else, too, lol. But there still is Plainclothes' official/global release coming at the end of the year.

That time around, I'm sure he'll promote the movie well. Especially since, in my opinion, he should get an Oscar for this performance. I'll start being his Oscar campaign manager soon

I trust him, and I'm sure this is just a little bit of a letdown moment that will quickly pass! Prayer circle he attends today's premiere. 🤍

even tho i would LOVE for him to win a oscar, i sadly don't think it would be with this role (but it would be deserved!!!) he did so great in plainclothes and the way he portrayed emotions omg (no spoilers obviously!)

Being disappointed isn't the problem. it's people (like this admin) making it sound like he's a hypocrite. Maybe that's not how you meant it but it's definitely how you came across in your post

hi admin!! I'll take your side on this plainclothes discourse.

I do believe Tom isn't above constructive criticism and that people are allowed to voice their opinions.

It is true there has been a lack of promotion regarding Plainclothes for a little over a month now from his part. With his followers count, you'd expect him to promote it a little bit more. The rest of the cast is always reposting stories about the movie, the premieres (Mexico, NYC, London), etc...

But he isn't. He did leave a like the latest post from filmupdatesmain, but that's about it since April. He also did watch fans' stories a few days ago. That means he is active on Instagram yet... not much is happening.

That being said, he still has today to attend the PC premiere in London. He surely had a good reason for not attending yesterday's premiere: packed schedule, back for BTK in Canada, sickness... whatever.

I think people are allowed to be "disappointed" in the lack of promotion, especially since it is by far one of his best performances. I don't think voicing one's opinion means that people are actually going after Tom.

i think some people genuinely think that tom is a old grandpa that doesn't use his phone when it's not true? he is pretty much active and he knows how to use instagram i promise !

i'm not saying you should clap for the minimum, you just made it sound like he hasn't promoted it at all which isn't true. he's also done it more than three times

it was an hyperbole but yet the last time he promoted that film was in april, since that, there were premieres of it in different cities and yet not even a story. like i said maybe he didn't have time to go there physically but he could've post something about it.

i'm sorry but if i was in a indie movie that really mattered for me and that i though that it was important to support that, i would've made a little bit of space in my schedule (25 seconds) to post a story about it.
