The Mandalorian “ The Tragedy”

I know this was probably the least important thing about this episode but the ball Grogu was holding in the beginning had blue in it.

That was a completely different ball.. was it not?

Incredible episode.

Chadwick Boseman was an inspiration on screen and in real life. He was putting out works and batting cancer at the same time within a span of 4 years.

Sometimes we really need to watch what we complain about.

He will be missed because he was loved.

I absolutely loved this movie but...Gotta tell you.

Everyone is talking about how touched they were when Ian gave Barley the chance to say goodbye to their dad and have closure...But all it did was make me mad and sad.

I hated it. I’m sorry, but I did.

Why couldn’t both of them say goodbye. I waited this whole movie for him to meet his dad only for him not to be able talk directly to him in the end anyway. AGAIN.

I get that Barley was an awesome brother but anyone will know that it’s not the same.

I get that Ian made the sacrifice and had to kill the dragon because he had the wizard powers and Barley could have gotten killed, but why couldn’t they have had him do both? They didn’t even have his dad turn around to even wave at him.

Maybe they will make a 2 and Ian will get a chance to meet him then.

I know everyone loved it but...I HATED IT. I’m sorry, but I did.

I’m not very happy with what they did with Finn’s story.

You mean to tell me you had a story about a baby taken as a child and raised and indoctrinated by an evil cult in hatred and abuse who despite everything never becomes a killer for them and decides to do right only to find himself in the center of a great story and to top it off discovers HE IS FORCE SENSITIVE.

You people had all that revolutionary story-telling and GOLD and you just throw it away?!

Steve Rogers Avengers Endgame: Bucky

I believe the Old Steve was from the future of a different timeline not the same Steve of this timeline. Steve could have just as easily put all the stones back, had his dance with Peggy, took a two month break and came right back.

If you all think Steve is selfish then you all don’t know him very well. You really think Steve went back in time and created another timeline with just him and Peggy and NO BUCKY. Really?

If Present Steve did create a new timeline you can bet that after waving at Peggy and dancing with his “best girl”, that he went straight to find his “best guy”. Come on people we know this.

~

How is it that you all can create all of this fanfiction and yet you can’t see between the scenes of a movie that left everything so open for you. Don’t let your imagination be stumped and stunted now. Steve’s story can only be ruined if you imagine it that way.

Yes Bucky was shortchanged in Endgame but I thought Bucky was shortchanged in Civil War and yet everyone loved that movie and people had no problems filling in the gaps with fanfiction. I loved Civil War but there was not enough Bucky and Steve ‘just talking about everything’ scenes. Steve showed up in his apartment and then *bam* instant fighting and action. They didn’t even hug the entire movie and Steve had just found his best friend in the world after searching a whole year for him.

I just have to be honest and say that I’m greedy for Steve and Bucky. I just want them all the time. And whenever I don’t get my fill of them I feel cheated. So yeah I get it. We wanted the Russo brothers to show the depth of the relationship between these two incredible characters on screen before our eyes. We the fans know how important these two are to each other, let’s not give up on that now just because the directors may have failed to show it well in this particular movie.

Please don’t bad mouth Chris Evans he did nothing wrong. If you don’t like Avengers Endgame that’s 100% your business but please don’t take it out on the actors.

You all are mad at Steve and Bucky not ending up together romantically when you all know good and well Marvel was not going to ever make them openly gay on the big screen in the first place. When has Marvel ever done that for any male and male relationship.

I still enjoyed Endgame. I took away from it that Steve and Bucky are soulmates whether romantic or platonic.

Steve Rogers: Avengers Endgame

I personally enjoyed the ending of Avengers Endgame. Marvel opened the box. Once you open the box to time travel you can never undo it. Time travel will now always be a possibility.

I both love and hate time travel. I hate time travel because it’s kind of like a cop out. It’s a bandaid, sometimes sloppy fix to a major problem when they can’t figure out anything else. You can’t just treat time like a toy to toss around. It has cataclysmic consequences when you mess it up. It’s also like tampering with peoples lives without their permission.

I also kinda am interested in time travel particularly because this is comics. They do this in comics. If people can have superpowers, and live on other planets, and be a different race or species, and come from all over the universe and hold infinity stones in their hands that control space, time, soul, power, mind, and reality, then time travel is inevitable. I also love that because of time travel they left the door open for Steve’s story. As a HUGE Steve Rogers fan, I LOVE THAT.

Steve going back in time doesn’t bother me. I think it’s interesting that he was a man out of time and now HE IS the MAN of TIME. Steve can move between any time he wants.

He can go back and live his life however he chooses. People call him selfish but Steve has done nothing but sacrifice his whole life. At some point every solider wants to go home. He has earned it. He finished his mission.

As far as relationships go:

Sam: He concluded his relationship with Sam quite nicely. He passed over the mantle and gave Sam the honor of becoming the captain. Sam is a good man and Steve knows Sam will do it justice. Sam was an unprecedented friendship that Steve needed. He was kind and loyal and steadfast. Steve knew he was deserving of the shield.

Peggy: Now come on people you all need to lighten up. You all are so used to fanfiction that you forget that he was always in love with Peggy. It was never a secret. Don’t villainize her or him because they love each other. It’s comic book canon whether you like it or not. They never said Steve and Peggy wouldn’t be together you all did that and now you’re mad. Steve can love more than one person. And if Steve had not entered the ice 70 years ago he would have married her then anyway. Besides we don’t know who Steve married. He never said.

Bucky: My favorite relationship in the MCU is the relationship between Steve and Bucky. Something about them just draws me in. I think it’s their unconditional love for one another. I have never seen two people in marvel be so intertwined. They are so connected that they even know one another’s thoughts. Bucky knew what Steve was going to do even before he did it. Throughout their lifetimes, Bucky wouldn’t let go of Steve no matter what and Steve wouldn’t let go of Bucky no matter what.

Steve didn’t leave Bucky. He said “Don’t do anything stupid till I get back.” Present Steve can always come back. Besides who’s to say that He didn’t spend a whole life with Bucky when he went back. All I’m saying is that Bucky and Steve are soulmates whether that is romantic or platonic nothing can take that away from them.

I also have other thoughts about Steve in this movie but I will leave that for later.
