We are excited to announce that we have a little GIRL joining our family! We couldn’t be more excited! This whole time we both thought it was a boy, due to the fact that Antonio has more brother then sisters. Also because I have been carrying pretty low and my skin has been really dry. I also did the Chinese calendar and the ring test, so when our doctor told us that we where having a girl.. we where both shocked.

We decided to do a gender reveal photo shoot because A. It’s a lot simpler then trying to throw a gender reveal party and then a baby shower in a few months, B. We just couldn’t wait. I know a lot of couples who wait until the big reveal to find out with everyone else. Me, personally? I just had to know! I mean I was laying right there watching my baby squirm around, I had to know if it was a boy or girl. Antonio and I found out a week before we announced it to everyone. Which just waiting a week to tell anyone was almost impossible. But I am very happy with how our pictures turned out, they are exactly what I wanted.

Something rustic and simple. We have a lot of people ask us how we got this idea for our gender reveal. Honestly I spent a few hours on Pinterest and this idea was at the bottom of the list. It was super simple and easy. All you need is some acrylic paint, 2 pumpkins and some alphabet stickers. I literally put this together last night, with the help of my husband. Because pumpkin seeds gross me out lol.

So far pregnancy has been pretty easy for me, which I thank God about everyday and every night. We have officially hit the 20 week mark, which means we are halfway there until our baby girl gets here. Since we found out that we are having a girl, we haven been brainstorming names. I think we found one that we like, But we wont be announcing it until the birth.

I can’t wait to have our little bundle of joy joining our family in a few months, But I am treasuring every moment being pregnant. Pregnancy truly is a beautiful thing.

Writing + reading ✨ being pregnant so far has been nothing but amazing. I have been very blessed that everything has been very comfortable and stress free. { 18 weeks }. I've been reading a lot to try and catch up on all my changes my body is going through. Pregnancy is truly an amazing thing 🍃

  Alright it’s almost time to say good-bye to the first trimester! Man, do I feel so much better than I did about a month ago. Most of my symptoms have gone away, which is completely normal. But the one think I’m having a hard time adjusting to is my body. I never really had the “best body” but I was fairly little growing up. Marriage is not what everyone thinks it is. It’s not waking up early every morning to make breakfast and eating together. Its not cuddling in bed together until both of you peacefully fall asleep. It’s not a clean home and a homemade meal every day.

It’s someone who steals all the covers. It’s slammed doors and a few harsh words, fights and the silent teatment, it’s wondering if you’ve made the right decision.

It is, despite all of those things, the one thing you look forward to every day.

It’s coming home to the same person everyday that you know loves and cares about you. It’s laughing about the one time you accidentally did something totally stupid.

It’s about eating the cheapest and easiest meal you can make and sitting down together at 10pm to eat because you both had a crazy day. It’s when you have an emotional breakdown and your love lies on the floor with you and holds you and tells you everything is going to be okay, and you believe them.

It’s when “Netflix and chill” literally means you watch Netflix and hang out.

It’s about still loving someone even though they make you absolutely insane.

Living with the person you love is countless fights about absolutely nothing, but is also having a love that people spend their whole life looking for.

It’s not perfect and it’s hard, but it’s amazing and comforting and the best thing you’ll ever experience..💙
