This is Keto. At the end of two weeks, I do get minor cravings for sweets but, nothing I can’t say no to. It’s not been depriving, I’m down 12lbs and I’ve had many non-scale victories! It’s really made me aware of how much garbage we eat on a daily basis and I’m aware of foods that really affected me negatively (no migraines for nearly two weeks - huge win for me!!!) Today is easily one of the hardest days I face every year. Some days it feels like yesterday, others it feels like so long ago. I love you mom and I think of you everyday. Curly hair in New England. No super expensive machines and no salon product that cost a small fortune. No tedious and time consuming processes that require a 4 am wake up call. I’ve tried all that and wasn’t impressed with the results. Oh, and by the way, this is what my hair REALLY looks like and if you saw me in 3 hours, it would pretty much look the same. You might catch me flipping my head upside down to fluff my curls but, what you see is what you get. A week ago, I was lucky enough to take @v.alerie.paige to her horse riding lesson. She is a natural and it was so sweet to see how much Teton trusted her and snuggled with her after following her instruction. He loved hearing her say, “good boy” ☺️☺️ she has such a love for animals and they can feel it from her. This time tomorrow I’ll be on a plane headed for the #caribbean my first time out of the country, first time taking a vacation WITHOUT my kids. I’m excited and freaking out at the same time. Excited to bring in the new year with new art. Letting some things go and listening more to the whispers of my heart. I’ve been praying for clarity and direction and believe I’m on a path that is better. This last year was HARD! My art didn’t get the attention it deserved due to lots of extra hours at work. Those projects are finished so I’m excited to get back to creating more. Still, it’ll be a challenge for a few months while we pack our house (5 people’s stuff!!!) and get moved to Utah.
