with no demo out yet, there hasn't been much of a chance for people to get to know the characters of circus sweets... so what to do? we asked some members of the community, and we came up with an idea: a takeover!

from now on until further notice, if you send an ask to this blog, you can ask a character directly! no question is too silly or strange- though we do ask you keep questions SFW.

go ahead! ask a character a question that's been on your mind for ages! or just come try to chat with one about anything, if you so desire!

ah, growl. beloved by many and the attitude of someone who shouldn't be.

growl finds it hard to easily show affection to others in a different way than velvet. while velvet is a lot more shy, growl is just... stiff. he's never had a relationship before that worked.

he'll tense up if you get near, and watch you warily, but it's nothing against you- he's just not used to it, and finds it hard to relax in general, really.

you'll be able to get him to relax with some time, though! eventually, he'll find himself relaxing more and more around you, and seeking you out more...

being around growl means you become well-acquainted with the mechanical beasts that work with the circus- especially saber, growl's right hand!

growl might even ask you to help him out with keeping them calm while he does repairs, if they like you that much... (and they do!) so you'll see saber coming by to pick you up often!

bonding activities aren't something growl is... the best at, to put it lightly. they'll be up to you, and he may not participate all that much in them... but if you ask, he tries to. he just says he likes watching you do it more.

also, growl's body temperature is a little lower than normal... which means he's wonderful for cuddling in the hot months. (and in the colder months, you can snuggle under a blanket, though he may comment if anyone catches you two he is leaving immediately-)

the one ask box you HAVENT yet been in

as i've mentioned previously, velvet is a little shy about affection. it's nothing to do with you- they're just a little... unused to it. largely so. you'll have to help them get used to it!

getting together with them takes a bit of effort, as they tend to close up sooner than reveal themself to others, but with a bit of patience, you shouldn't have a problem.

as a clown, they know several magic tricks they can show you. they're nothing grand, as velvet is more of a pierrot, but they'd still love to show you.

if you're looking into joining the circus- or already are in it- then they'd be more than glad to show you the ropes, as well! though their role is of a clown, they'll gladly show you...

...hands on, especially- standing behind you and reaching around to help you position yourself correctly...

velvet is also a big reader. they tend to keep to themself in their tent when they're not practising, and so if you want to read something, they'd be happy to share!

sometimes, you find them staring off into the distance. you'll be able to help keep them grounded, though, and out of their thoughts- who knows, maybe you'll end up being the cause of their thoughts wandering...

while velvet and jingles may not date each other, they'd both be more than happy to shower you in love anyways!!! if anything, it gives them more of a chance to give you love.

they're both clowns, though drastically different sorts, so you can expect a lot of dramatic gestures in your relationship with them both!

velvet tends to be a little more subdued, but they know a fair amount of magic tricks they can show you. jingles, on the other hand, is full of energy and drama. expect bouquets and cards and all sorts of stuff!

while velvet might be a little more... shy, about showing you affection, jingles is loud and proud about it. you WILL be shown off (if you're okay with it) and the other members WILL eventually tire of jingles's constant announcements of her love for you

if jingles's energy is too much for you, velvet makes sure to do their best to get her to tone it down, and to remind her to keep it down. otherwise, though, they mostly just sit back and watch you two with the faintest of smiles on their face.

velvet will often be pulled into it by jingles, though- just as they try to keep her energy levels down a little bit, she does her best to encourage them to come show you love too!!!

overall, it's actually very well-balanced, with each giving their own very unique things to their relationship with you whilst also making sure the other doesn't get too wrapped up in their usual energies.

hello, may we get some fluffy platonic imagines with delight and/or miracle? also...is it ok to pet adelina?

of course you can!!! and you're more than welcome to pet adelina; she doesn't bite! (she might end up taking a nap on your lap, though... but sacrifices must be made.)

delight is a fairly friendly guy to begin with; it doesn't take him long to make friends, and you're likely no different! miracle tends to follow him along, so it's likely you get a two-for-one deal there when it comes to friendship.

they're both acrobats, and would be more than happy to show you some of the routines they don't get to show off as often. a friend is the best type of audience, after all!

if you're having a rough day, delight will always be there with kind words and a smile. miracle is a bit of a hands-on kind of comforter, on the other hand- they'll bring you things, like cherished items, to try to lighten your mood. and if that doesn't work, maybe a distraction will!

a general day with the two might be a little boring, as miracle likes to practice in their spare time and delight helps out, but they do their best to make sure you're never bored!

whether it's because they're showing you new tricks, or getting you to try a (very easy and with lots of safety precautions) trick, or one of them keeping you company while the other practices, they try to make sure you always feel included.

if you're a guest, and don't help out with the circus, they personally come to deliver you tickets and an invitation every time they come into your town.

if you're another circus employee, then sleepovers! (if you want them!) miracle and delight often share a tent and you'd be more than welcome to join them!!!

Can I please request some imagines about the reader helping Merry to relax? After all, being the ringleader of a circus definitely seems like a pretty full-on role, even for someone as experienced as she is. I hope this is okay! Thank you so much for making this blog!

sorry for taking so long to answer this, but thank you for coming to support it!!! it means a lot to me that people are enjoying it!

merry certainly doesn’t relax often- she has too much to do, and not enough time! or, at least, that’s how SHE views things. she could easily get others to help out, but she’s stubborn.

so when you offer to help her relax, she’s surprised, and hesitant- but agrees, as she wants to see you happy. in a way, it’s her taking it to be similar to a duty once more, but...

admittedly, merry doesn’t know much about relaxing. you’ll have to try some things, but eventually, she’d settle on just spending time with you- maybe helping her sew (or, at the least, helping hand over her things she needs) and chatting.

you convince her to actually work on something leisurely, and not just more work for once, so she works on something else- and to your surprise, you find that it’s a little rabbit!

she offers it to you with a smile, saying that she wanted to thank you somehow- and that she thought it would match how cute you are! (whether she means this in a friendly way, or something more... that’s simply up to you!)

whether you two sit in quiet or talk, merry relaxes quite a bit in your presence- you may even find her dosing off. it’s up to you if you let her sleep or if you catch her attention to leave...

either way, merry thanks you in the end once more- and tells you that she hopes she can get your help in relaxing if she needs it again.

hi i thought that delight was a short king but i looked at your height chart and holy shit /lh anyways can i hear about lala and dinky throwing surprise mini-parties for other circus members ? just a funky lil' time !! tiny instances of spontaneous chaos !

YEAH delight isn’t short at all unlike some others! but ofc!

in lala’s opinion, the best way to relax is with a party- and who would disagree with such a cheery figure and her doll?

lala’s parties are always lots of fun, if unexpected- she manages (with the help of jingles) to put them together in no time at all! if the player is around, she’ll try to rope them into it too!

(dinky supervises the ongoings from a high perch. high for him, that is. no one dares interfere with his watchful eye.)

the circus’s members have differing opinions on them- growl doesn’t like the parties much, velvet, cookie, and merry are appreciative but a little more uncertain/humble abt it, and miracle, delight, prince, and jingles think they’re tons of fun- but in the end, everyone appreciates (on some level, even just inwardly) the amount of effort it takes from lala.

there has, however, been many a time that the party ends up getting a little too exciting and things end up messy. lala, especially, can sometimes be very prone to starting food fights. especially with jingles.

honestly, the parties usually end in some messy and chaotic way, whether it be because someone made a mess of the area or because it’s getting too loud- merry usually has to end them, as she’s the only one who’s listened to in these scenarios!

even so, that doesn’t stop anyone from appreciating the break from their usual duties at least a little bit.

quick side note: asks for cookie or prince may be slow to be responded to, as Chris has not had to think much about his characters yet (as SP is remarkably slow at working on the game). you’re more than welcome to send them in, though!!! just know that you may be waiting a bit!

hey!!! please read these before following or sending an ask- they’re very important, and should you disobey, you may end up banned from this blog! sorry, but it’s for our comfort!

First off, please don’t interact if you support aging up characters who are minors to selfship with them as an adult, or aging down S/Is to selfship with minors.

Secondly, we reserve the right to deny interaction if we feel uncomfortable with your blog or request! (This will typically only happen if your blog is offensive, or if you primarily selfship with a series that makes us mods uncomfortable.)

By default, imagines will be written neutrally unless you specify a gender and it requires said gender! Please don’t specify if the imagine doesn’t require a gender.

understood? great! we also have some general guidelines to keep in mind when sending in things!

Please make sure to specify if you want romantic, platonic, or familial imagines! We also accept QPP imagines, but please note- the mods are not experienced in this area.

You’re more than welcome to ask for poly imagines- Just make sure to specify if all characters are dating each other, or just the reader! However, we will not do poly imagines with Merry and Growl both with the reader for obvious reasons.

We also won’t accept romantic requests for Dinky, Saber, or Adelina for obvious reasons.

Certain characters have canonical orientations that will restrict their imagines! These are only side characters, though. The ones who I ask you’re careful asking for are: Jingles (Women & enbies only) (more tba)
