Takes place right after the end of my Day 3 contribution : Penny has asked Ruby for a kiss to see if they would feel different from the ones they shared when she had her mechanical body and yup, they do ! Which gives Penny some… desires. I encourage you to go back to Day 3’s chapter and read the last part to get in the mood before reading this one. Enjoy !

    Much too soon to Penny’s liking though, Ruby drew back to whisper in her ear :

Thanks for the support ! I do hope there will come a day where people learn to avoid content and users they dislike instead of trying to police them. In the meantime, I hope that everyone following this blog will enjoy the week with no trouble !

If people filter your blog name (as a phrase not a tag) then it hides your posts better than blocking - tumblr's blocking system is poor but there are known work arounds. If you can't handle the content on this site or be bothered to google how to avoid it then you aren't emotionally healthy/mature enough to be here<3

Could you tag every post you make with "nsfw" please? Your blog posts showing up in regular rwby tags even though you're purely a NSFW account shouldn't be a thing so at least tag it so it's filtered. As it is right now, everyone from any age can see your posts just by navigating the site

Yeah, and if I tag it with “nsfw” the posts will be hidden from the search results and even the fans who would be interested in that content won’t be able to see it.

Look, I’ve tried and tried and tried to please everyone to the point of making a mess of both this blog and the SFW one until I surrendered the latter to someone else. There’s no pleasing everyone. So this is my stance and I won’t budge from it : the existence of this blog serves only one purpose : to promote NSFW content just like the SFW content is promoted on the SFW blog. As such, I refuse to make it inaccessible to even the people who would want to see it. All my posts have been tagged with “nsfw” for the past month and barely anyone saw it, but since changing the tag I use, just 4 days ago, 3 people followed this blog. This proves that even the people who are interested in NSFW content can’t find this blog if the Tumblr search hides it from the regular tags.

I’m tagging the current posts with the usual rwby tags so more people who would be interested in the blog can see it before the week begins. The content I will reblog will be tagged solely with the week tags. Anyone of any age that finds a post in the rwby tags will not be exposed to any NSFW content and if they want to be sure to avoid any interaction with a NSFW blog, they can just block it. That’s final.

I am making this post to inform you that there is a slight modification to the blog. As an anon has pointed out, for the last few weeks, all posts tagged as "nsfw" have been hidden fron Tumblr's search results. I believed at first it was just the search engine having a bug, as it often does, but since nothing changed and even the blog was hidden from search results, I decided to change the blog's name and the tag that will be used on the works submitted for the upcoming week.

Therefore ! The new name for the blog is "citrus-nuts-and-dolts-week" and the new tag is, consequently, #citrus nuts and dolts week 2021

The guidelines have been updated with this new information.

I hope those changes will make it easier for everyone to interact with the blog and enjoy the week !

As the title suggests, this post is about the guidelines for the event. If you have any question about them or don’t understand my phrasing at some point, don’t hesitate to send me an ask or a private message, I’ll be happy to answer you !

The official tag for content meant for this blog is #citrus nuts and dolts week 2021. Please tag all your entries with this tag, so that the fans who do not wish to see them can block the tag and avoid stumbling upon content they would rather avoid.

Content that promotes/encourages/glorifies bigotry or exclusionism of any kind (sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, aro/acephobia, etc) will not be reblogged on this blog.

The contents of any kind of creation will be tagged appropriately on the blog, following a list of tags you can find here so that everyone knows what tag to block and/or what tag to search, depending on what you want to see. I would appreciate it if the content creators put the appropriate tags in their original posts as well to avoid any incident.

Anyone can submit a work for the week, but they must be the one to have created said work, OR have express consent of the creator to post it in their stead and credit them appropriately. If anyone notices that some content has been stolen or is not appropriately sourced, you are encouraged to let me know and provide proof of the theft.

No one is required to submit content for every day of the week. If you have inspiration for one prompt and not another, don’t force yourself : post what you want to and I will be happy to reblog it.

In a similar manner, if you have more than one idea for one prompt and want to submit more than one entry for the same day, it is no problem at all. Every single one of your creations will be reblogged.

I will not reblog content before the week as nothing prevents you from queuing your work or keep it somewhere before the beginning of the week. However, I will reblog all late entries to the week, so don’t stress yourself if you take a few more days or weeks to complete your creations, I will still reblog it.

You are free to do whatever you want with Ruby, Penny and the other characters, but this week is dedicated to Nuts and Dolts, so if Penny and Ruby are explicitly said or implied to be part of a larger, polyamorous or polysexual relationship, the work starring the relationship will not be considered as Nuts and Dolts content and will not be reblogged here. There are shipweeks for polyamorous ships too, so keep such content for those weeks and focus on Nuts and Dolts for this one !
