a lot of "content creators" appear to give up on good content as soon as they get popular

george's best content isn't even difficult to make, his zoo video? simple, yet iconic

i feel the same about arthurtv too

they're so much better than the content they put out, we've seen it!!!

i want better for them and for us as fans

My initial reaction was to say the cliche, why do you still watch then, maybe your interest has changed, blah blah blah. You know?

But then, I thought everyone viewed content differently, and we all watched for different reasons.

George's content: I don't necessarily agree that he's "lost his spark." I think it is possible that he's just had such a busy year and gained a lot of popularity, that it's taken its toll on him. I mean, from doing the podcast by himself to the charity match to Inside and then streaming. He's also admitted himself recently on stream that he can definitely be more creative and has ideas. I think it's more the execution? Procrastinating? Not enough time? Editing? (I think editing may play a big part in George's content. I mean, he got a new editor but admitted on stream to still going through the video and editing bits himself).🤷‍♀️You can tell he's trying with his content, especially on stream and wanting to have a plan in place so that he's not just sitting playing games all the time.

With George, I think it's only going to get better though. 2025 has definitely been his year.

ArthurTV: I agree with you on Arthur. He seems to be riding the commentary train (although this has been his formula since he started YouTube). I don't watch most of his commentary videos and occasionally watch his horror videos. I wish he played a variety of horror games - I'm tired of the anaomly games, they're boring. I want him to try and play The Classrooms or FNAF or something along those lines. His vlogs were fun, but he hadn't done one of those in a while.

I also think a lot of content creators, George and Arthur included, are in other people's videos a LOT. Which maybe makes their own content seem less? Because when they are in videos for Chris, Sidemen, etc, it's completely different from what they'd post on their own channels.

It may also be that UKYT content relies heavily on the Sidemen, Chris, etc. Everyone is posting very similar content (which is normal as people follow the trend), but it does make it boring to us viewers. Even when new content creators come through, I've found myself not watching any of them. I never watched Ginge, Danny Aarons or even Bach (I'll watch them in other peoples videos because I find them funnier there) - they're not my cup of tea. (Sorry if that's sacrilegious😂).

thoughts on the clips !! the majority girl audience one is kinda giving "i wish i had more of an even split" but in a nice way 😭 and the gf questions are just so weird? i don't even understand why people need to know (and i feel like it's common sense that they would just.. not go to his on an evening he streams or would stay in the living room

also i've sent in a few things before and wanted you to know it's me so i'll end them with - 🦋 if that's okay?

George is definitely too nice to cause a stir. He also has a habit of using humor to deflect a lot of situations - which is his right, of course. Especially if he does not want to answer something. You can tell that others know this about George, too. For example, in the recent Side Cast, Tobi literally said that George doesn't take anything too seriously. (Not verbatim, but it was something like that).

As for the girlfriend stuff, those questions are intrusive. And maybe a little niave? It's got similar vibes to people looking in the background for evidence of a girlfriend. I'm not even sure what they're expecting to get from asking these types of questions.😭

i saw that bingo in the comm before the stream and thought the girlfriend thing was a bit weird lol. these guys are too invested in his love life 😭

I don't have an issue with it being on the bingo card.

It's more the conversation around the girlfriend part that causes people to get too invested.

The biggest issue for me is the fact that people are acting too bold in chat by asking questions directly about it. That's where the boundaries need to be set.

People need to stop acting entitled or that it's even any our business to know. George has been pretty open about dating and makes jokes about it. But that's the extent of what we, as his fans, are allowed to or should know.

previous anon here and i totally agree with the last part! it feels like they're overcompensating (?) a bit for when he does eventually get into a relationship. like they're bringing it up now so they won't crash out when it happens which is still weird imo. i've also noticed that it ONLY happens to him and none of the other boys (not that i would want it to happen to them!) just like the constant shipping him and every girl he breathes next to (which he's addressed before 😭) again i don't wish for the other boys to get shipped constantly but it is weird how you cannot be a woman and interact with him without catching an allegation

Apart from maybe Chris, the others don't talk about it much or haven't been in a public relationship. So people don't get invested as much. (As far as I know).

It also begs the question about WHY people are watching George. Are they watching solely because he's single and good-looking? Do they actually like his content? Is it the idea of being a fan and thinking you have a chance with him?

It's an interesting phenomenon tbh.🤔

his chat needs to stop with all the dating questions as he's mentioned a few times (most recently in one of jasons stream i think) that he doesn't like the idea of a relationship being so public and on social media so if he does ever get a girlfriend i kinda think we won't know unless it's a very serious relationship 😭 which again is so fair as it's none of our business in the first place and half the fandom is parasocial 😭

I think people are forgetting, as early as last week (I think?), or definitely in his recent streams, he's mentioned being single in a roundabout way.

Also, even IF he was on a date, it may be early days and definitely NOT something he would discuss. Especially NOT with his Twitch chat. It may also not lead to anything at all. 🤷‍♀️

It just feels like some people are trying to pre-empt the getting a girlfriend stage, and for what? It's not going to change their lives and it'll happen whether they like it or not.🫢

george's twitch chat is bare annoying sometimes. i noticed it right after inside finished when he was figuring out what to stream and the chat would suggest some things (like streaming with cinna, milli or ginge) and then get bored and constantly complain and ask him to leave. like bro you guys asked for this. he is also a grown man just let him do what he wants to do 😭

It's definitely frustrating at times - it's why I choose not to interact with the chat. I just don't have the patience for that type of bs.😂
