Originally from Nagpur, Maharashtra, he has always had a curious, seeking mind, always trying to figure out how things work. This curiosity pushed him to become a student of science, and also teach maths and science at Ira International school, Nagpur. . As a perfectionist at heart, the symmetry and beauty of clay art has appealed to him greatly and he had taken a keen interest in how clay works and the science behind it. The question he wanted to explore was that how can one materia have so much versatility. He believes that once you understand the root of anything you are open to the boundless potential it offers. . Aniruddha's responsibility includes Production and R&D. Simplicity of thought and person and rigor of technique and research. She not only broke down some of her complex techniques for us but also took us through her glorious 33yr journey as an artist. She talked about it all with such ease and candor that every member of the audience felt a connection with her. It was a privilege to be a part of all the excitement and hope she generated. Exploring Glazes – A Fresh Approach! . Our next batch of Exploring Glazes is here. . We approach glaze recipe as a mixture of oxides rather than mixture of minerals. With this approach, behaviour of the glazes can be better understood and the glaze minerals can be easily substituted with local variants. . Our program will let artists learn how to arrive at optimal ratio of these oxides in a glaze recipe and understand role these oxides play in the glaze texture, durability, colour and temperature. . Participants will be introduced to simple software tools and calculators to predict , analyze and to fine tune the glazes. .
