We got our bike out again today! Haven't done that for years, but it went very well. We even had a very nice bit of canter.

Today was hay cutting day at the stable, so we got up at 03:30 to look for baby roe deer in the fields before the tractor showed up to cut. Found 3 that needed to be carried off the field and 2 that were old enough to move away on their own. The drone was so cool though, very very handy, the babies are virtually invisible in the grass without it.

Our new tool for our walks.

Since she has laminitis and EMS, she cannot have any grass right now. That becomes a problem when she has always been allowed to grab snacks on our walks as long as she doesn't stop or pull my arms off. She obviously doesn't understand why she cant do that now and it leads to us arguing the whole walk.

I still need to tweak the design a little, but so far it seems like a good solution. It will give her a lot more freedom to sniff around without me having to micromanage her grass intake. Looks ridiculous though.
