I love when characters get absolutely SHATTERED. I'm talking their life is in ruins, everything they ever wanted is now forever out of reach, their loved ones are gone forever, there's nothing left for them at all, and they're just left to be miserable and alone. They will NEVER be the same and now they just have to deal with that <3 and it's always so interesting to see if or how they put themselves back together.

ingo in hisui is an invasive species so lacking in proper enrichment that he goes out and engages with supposedly uncontrollable alpha pokemon just to feel something. he literally made personal, specialized challenges for every single hisui dex pokemon. he drags in three wild alphas for a fight at the drop of the dime. also he's still a warden. who has that kind of time or energy? ingo submas apparently. if left to his own devices theres no telling what creature is getting a sudden and ferocious beat down next. it could be you. it could be me.

Another thing fandom needs to start doing more of is projecting on tops.

There are delicious amounts of psychological distress you can inflict on that guy once you get into his head. The brainworms of forcing agency and initiative on someone who genuinely is Not Fucking Ready For It are exquisite.
