Not sure if you’re still into g/t, but Kaiju Oikawa and human Iwaizumi
i def am still into g/t! i just have been on the consumer side rather than the writing side for a bit now :) sparing many details but college is kicking my ass atm. To say I haven't been writing is a bit disingenuous... I have written a few things, but they are way too niche to post here. respectfully, they are for my eyes only😅
As for the suggestion, I am not the biggest kaiju fan :( I wish I could share your joy and give you a really nice scenario about it, but I cannot. Although, any situation where Oikawa is the taller one would be bad news for Iwa. He will know no peace.
Not in a "he's going to get hurt" kinda way, but in a "now he has to put up with Oikawa's giant antics and there's not a lot he can do about it" kinda way. He might need a support group. However, I don't think Maki and Matsun would be anything other than instigators here.
Lots of unwilling air jail for Iwaizumi, I can see it already.
Thank u for the ask anon! hopefully w/ summer coming up I'll get my creative juices flowing and (potentially) start posting more again. I'm not going to say consistently because that's a high bar, but more than I have been.

I actually can't get enough this is so good 🤯
Lily in Wonderland
A human ends up shrunk in Iavoros after falling through a portal and must now navigate a new world at an infinitesimal size. Luckily, or unluckily, Cody and Jael are on the case.
---
The day had been completely normal for all intents and purposes; Lily had just finished all of her university lectures and was walking back to her accommodation. Mentally she went through the checklist of things she needed to complete, though it seemed never-ending. As much as she sat there and tried to force her brain into the right state to write an essay, it just wouldn't cooperate.
On the way there though, just as she was passing an empty street she saw… a light. She had only glanced for a moment but what she saw captivated her entirely; a swirling mass of white light, glitching and warping like it was a tear through reality itself.
“Woah…”
Eyes shining with wonder she couldn't help but approach slowly, drawn in by the hypnotic sight. What is it? It looks like a portal but…those aren't real.
She reached forward to touch it only to let out a yelp of surprise when the light seemed to grab onto her, pulling her inside of the blinding mass of energy rather than being a simple harmless doorway. Before she could even think to call out for help the light had already consumed her vision, forcing her to close her eyes so it wouldn't blind her.
The moment her body seemed to stop feeling like it was spinning she was hit with a sudden nausea, collapsing to her hands and knees and throwing up onto the…soil? Last time she checked she had been on the pavement before, but now…
Lily shielded her eyes from the light as she cast her gaze upwards, wincing as her vision struggled to adjust after being flashed so hard earlier. One thing she immediately noticed was that there were tall green things helping block her from the sun, each one towering overhead like buildings.
“What the fuck…?”
Instinctively she reached into her back pocket and pulled out her phone only to find that it wouldn't turn on. Something about whatever she had entered had messed with it and caused it to stop working entirely. She cursed under her breath as the panic grew, looking around in desperation for something familiar that would give her a clue as to where she was.
Just as she was starting to freak out her eyes landed on something she recognized…an ant. But horrifyingly, it was like the size of a horse to her. Her blood ran cold and her eyes blew open wide in shock, frozen stiff with fear as she watched the way its antennae twitched.
No. No no no…this can't be happening— it's not…it's not real.
She was so lost in her panic that she only snapped out of it once she registered tremors in the ground growing so violent that she ended up sprawled out on the ground, watching in terror as a massive shadow slammed down and ended up crushing the ant that was merely five or so meters away.
There was no time to register more than the fact that what had come down from the sky and crushed the ant was a boot; and so as Lily's eyes took in those boots being attached to legs and those legs presumably connecting to a body… Adrenaline was the only thing keeping her from passing out right then and there.
“Cody I don't see anything…human where?” Despite the voice coming from what felt like miles above her, it still shook the air and made her head ache. Still staring up at the mountainous shadow hanging over her, she was too stiff to even consider moving away.
“No no. Your powers are hit and miss at the moment, I told you to take a break. Are you sure the portal opened in this area?”
Lily could feel her heart pounding in her ears, almost as loudly as the voice rumbling over her now. She paled, still sprawled out on the ground and taking in heaving breath after another. Is it the reason I'm here? What's gonna happen to me? Am I going to die like that ant or is it going to take me somewhere?
“I know you keep saying they're an inch away, but I think if a human was that close I'd know it… your sight might be malfunctioning too Cody, I don't think there's anyone here.” Her heart stopped in her chest and she inhaled sharply as two eyes from high above locked onto her form. “It's just me and this ant.”
Oh god. Lily felt like she might be sick again at those words. It thinks I'm an ant— I-I can't breathe— She clutched at her chest, eyes wide and ears starting to ring as she fully fell into a panic, tears welling up in her eyes. No no no…
She felt the air around her displace and the shifting of fabric but couldn't bring herself to look up, too terrified of what she may see. Only when a giant hand slammed onto the ground right beside her did she finally look, seeing how the grass was crushed flat underneath the gigantic palm and expecting she might be next.
“Geez…” The voice sounded much softer now, but it was just as deafening since now it was thundering from directly overhead. Lily was cast in a shadow much more dramatic than before, light pink hair falling around her as that huge face took up her entire vision. “No no…I can see em. Barely but…you're right, it's not an ant.”
As the giant being above her exhaled Lily would have been knocked over by the blast if not for the fact that she was already on the ground. She could hardly understand the rumbling voice above as she hyperventilated, scooting back on her forearms slightly.
“Hold on Cody, I need both hands so I don't squish em.”
The ground shook again, then another hand planted itself on the other side of Lily; this one's fingers curling in and forming a wall behind her… Another breath washed over her and made her shudder in fear, barely managing to catch her own breath as terror gripped her chest.
“You're a human, aren't you? Now, I'm real sorry about this but I can't really see you all that well so you're just gonna have to cooperate. Not gonna hurt you, I just need to…pick you up…” The face loomed closer and Lily screamed when she spotted one of those monstrous hands coming towards her. It paused when she screamed, twitching. “Sorry, I didn't catch that. Gods you're quiet…”
The fingers closed in overhead and she could do nothing but shield herself and sob as they began to pinch together around her. I'm gonna die I'm gonna die I'm gonna—
She heard a horrible sound like leather against leather, and only registered that she hadn't been crushed a few seconds later. Hesitantly she opened her eyes and looked up, seeing that the fingers had close in just above her. I'm too small to pick up. Like a grain of sugar…
That thought was just about as terrifying as it was comforting in that moment. Lily scrambled to her feet and made a run for it, heart racing and adrenaline buzzing in her veins.
“Well that didn't work…” She didn't look back, pumping her arms and legs frantically as she desperately ran in the opposite direction to the giant. She had no plan; no idea where she was going and what would happen to her even if she did escape, but she knew she just needed to get away.
Her efforts were halted as a hand slammed down in her path, shaking the ground again and causing her to lose her footing.
“Hey hey, I said work with me— running is only going to make this harder on both of us. I'm sure you don't want to get squished as much as I don't want that on my conscience, so stay. Still.” The words were firmer this time, filling Lily with dread as she curled up into a trembling crying heap on the soil.
As she sobbed and kept her eyes closed, she could still tell when the fingers started closing in again through the way the air moved around her. Balling up even tighter she braced herself for a crushing pressure— hoping it would be swift at least.
Something nudged against her and sent her tumbling, her limbs once again sprawled out although this time she was on something else. The ground felt almost like…paper… and upon looking down that's exactly what it seemed to be in the white-ish colour was anything to go off of. The slight translucence of it reminded her of the paper used to roll cigarettes.
She yelped as she was nudged from behind again, knocking her over more onto the paper. She stayed lying down, frozen and trembling, afraid she would be nudged again if she moved. It didn't seem to matter as the paper beneath her started to tilt. She tried desperately to get a hold of something but with a cry of surprise she was sent rolling onto a new surface.
This one was warm and had a weird texture; leathery but covered in bumps and ridges. It was only as she saw fingers many times her own size curling in overhead that she realized exactly where she was. I'm in a hand. I'm in a hand, oh god—
“See? Now that wasn't so hard was it? I mean…I'm doing most of the work anyway.” Lily didn't even register the joking tone, too busy panicking and letting more tears spill to process everything. As much as she was pretty unharmed, that didn't stop her from feeling absolutely terrified. This behemoth of a man could do absolutely anything he wanted, take her wherever and she could do nothing to stop him.
In fact, if she tried to resist then he would probably crush her, just like he said.
“Yeah Cody, I got them. I'm on my way now.” That was the last thing she heard before being sealed in fleshy darkness. She could feel the blood pumping beneath her in time with the giant's heart beat, and as much as it might have brought her solace at any other time for now it was just a reminder of how large this being was.
She felt like a bug trapped between curious palms— like she would do as a child when she was out catching fireflies. Lily couldn't help but shudder again, burying her head in her knees and mentally preparing herself for whatever she would be forced to face next.
…
What was probably only ten minutes felt like hours of being trapped in the warm darkness of the giant hands surrounding her. When the hand cupped over her finally lifted away Lily struggled to adjust to the darkness at first, but the panic was quick to return when she saw bright green eyes staring down at her. Another giant… and this one looks far more terrifying.
His unnatural appearance put her on edge as she started to take in one panicked breath after another, tears forming in her eyes. The green eyes that were focused on her softened immediately, the unnerving gaze somehow seeming…gentle.
“Shhh… it's alright. Don't cry, little one.” He uttered softly, though Lily couldn't help but flinch and sob again anyway. She hugged herself, closing her eyes and trying to pretend she was anywhere besides facing her doom. If I survive, I’m never killing a bug again.
“They're crying?” The hand she was curled up on shifted slightly, reminding her once again that she wasn't on solid ground; she was in the clutches of a great beast. Her stomach lurched and she lost her balance with a yelp as the fleshy platform raised up slightly, bringing her before the pink-haired man's grey-eyed gaze.
His brows were furrowed as he squinted down at her, and Lily couldn't help but shrink away from the intensity of it.
“Yes, she is. Let's just…set her down on the desk and let her get her bearings.” The green-eyed giant instructed, and Lily couldn't help let out a cry of relief at the thought of being put down.
Of course…getting there was a whole different process, and she yelped as the palm descended suddenly, clinging onto the ridges of skin to avoid flying off. Her eyes widened as it then started to tilt, still holding on to avoid falling, her breathing speeding up again.
“Careful, Jael..! It may not seem like a large distance from your perspective, but she'll get hurt falling from that height.” The softer voice scolded from overhead, not that Lily was paying much attention. The palm suddenly straightened up again and she cried out as it left her lying flat out on her stomach now. She stayed still, waiting for something to happen again as she held onto the skin beneath her.
“It's okay, little one… Here, I'm going to be very gentle, okay? I know you're scared, just try to breathe…” Lily let out another small sob, bringing her legs closer to herself protectively and still holding on, shaking her head as she buried it in the warm flesh below. The words may be intended as reassuring, but there was nothing reassuring about being handled by two people taller than skyscrapers.
Gasping in surprise as she felt something move beneath her legs, she instinctively tried to kick at whatever it was only for something to pinch down. At this size it was hard to make out what had grabbed her but it seemed to be fingernails. Thankfully they were blunt, or she feared they may have cut straight through…
The pressure on her leg didn't feel rough at all, and yet it was secure. Her grip on the skin beneath her slipped and in that moment she was lifted, a scream tearing from her lips as she struggled and failed for solid ground.
“Oh I know, little one… Hold on, almost there.” The world spun as she was carried by her leg, the grip on it not wavering at all and remaining gentle. Lily shut her eyes, starting to grow exhausted from all the screaming and crying and random bursts of adrenaline. Just as suddenly as she was picked up she was set down gently, lowered onto her back and then released entirely.
“Gods, she's little…” Already the first giant was leaning in again, filling her vision and blotting out any light from above. Lily shielded herself and shook, waiting for prying fingers to come at her again… but there was nothing but a constant push and pull of the giant's breathing.
“She's not much smaller than you are, your body is just not meant for interacting with anything on that scale.” That response was vague and confusing, doing nothing to comfort her frazzled mind. Is he crazy? I certainly feel a lot smaller! “And give her a bit of space. I know you can't see her very well without getting close, but she is terrified at the moment.”
Thankfully, the grey-eyed giant pulled back again, although his shadow was still incredibly intimidating now that he was stood up straight. She could see his appearance a little clearer now; the stubble on his chin and faint scar on his right cheek. He looked to be in his thirties or forties, with some stress lines and wrinkles but still a relatively young appearance. Dressed in a dark grey dress shirt and with two impressive black feathered wings at his back, his silhouette was no less intimidating.
She finally felt like she could breathe again when his gaze moved away from her vulnerable form, instead focusing on the more odd looking green eyed giant. This giant had dark grey skin with a cool tone, as well as long dreads that had a synthetic purple colour to them… it seemed natural, although she wasn't sure how. His sclera was black and his ears pointed, dressed in a casual t-shirt with his hair spilling down his back and off his shoulders.
“What are you going to do with them then? Your powers are unpredictable right now thanks to your sister, so you can't exactly fix their size right now, can you?” Although she didn't understand any of the last part, she also wondered exactly what these giants planned to do with her. Crush me? Eat me? Probably something along those lines.
The green-eyed giant, which Lily now recalled was named ‘Cody’— a shockingly normal name— hummed in thought. Without their intense attention on her, Lily was starting to feel like she could catch her breath finally.
“I could try… but it's risky. She might end up smaller if I try so it's better to leave things as they are for now. I can see her just fine, so I'll just have to look after her until my powers are working properly again.”
She tensed at those rumbling words. Look after me? Like a pet..? The thought was both horrifying…and admittedly comforting to know that she wasn't going to be killed. It would be so easy though… even accidentally. Gods why is this happening to me?
Sniffling, Lily wiped at her puffy eyes, dehydrated from all the crying at this point and only a few more tears managing to slip out. She sat up, hugging herself as she shook, feeling so lost and helpless in this completely absurd and terrifying situation.
“Poor thing…” She jolted as she noticed those toxic green eyes had landed on her again, looking down at her from high above. “You're safe here. I promise, as soon as I can safely return you home I will. You're not a prisoner.”
He leaned down, some of his dreads falling in front of his face more as his fingertips rested on the edge of the expansive desk. Lily couldn't help but scoot back again slightly, staring up at the giant as he offered a reassuring smile.
“What's your name? Take your time…” She exhaled shakily as his words washed over her, heart still racing although she was no longer buzzing with as much adrenaline as before. Opening her mouth to speak she could only stammer uselessly for several moments before managing to force her name from her lips.
“L-Lily…” It came out so meek she wasn't sure someone her own size would hear her, let alone this behemoth. And yet she could see a twinkle of recognition in his gaze so clearly as his smile brightened and gaze softened again. No way did he understand me…
“Lily? That's a lovely name. I'm Cody, and the guy who found you is Jael. I know it must be terribly scary being the size you are, but absolutely no harm will come to you under my care.” His hand moved slowly before settling over his chest sincerely.
As intimidating and terrifying as he looked from her perspective, for some reason his voice and demeanor made her feel…oddly safe. Certainly much more than his friend; she could tell that the giant pink-haired man, Jael, could not see or hear her which made every interaction feel much more hopeless.
She wiped at her tear-stained cheeks, trying to get her breathing more under control as she nodded along to his assurances.
“Tha-ank you…” Her words came out hoarse from all the crying and screaming earlier, exhaustion hitting her like a tidal wave. A gentle chuckle washed over her tiny form and rustled through her hair, sending a chill down her spine.
“No need to thank me, little one…”

aforementioned fic is going to be like 3000 words... I'm tempted to post it just bc I worked so damn hard on it
so way out of left field... but I was rewatching McLaren Tooned and there would be so much chaos if there was a borrower pulling pranks and screwing with the professor! it would be so funny :0 now I recognize wholeheartedly that this is probably an interest shared by just me, but I still think it would've been epic bc Tooned was so iconic...
(also I lowkey wrote a whole fic about a borrower in the tooned universe but it's quite literally for my eyes only bc it's brain rot but whatevs)

Not sure if you’re still into Haikyu but maybe some giant Oikawa and sizeshifter Oikawa (in which he only grows and then shrinks back to normal height) headcanons please?
Haikyu g/t thoughts go brrrr
haha i haven't seen the new movie yet idk why? just been busy lately I guess.
he'd be a major ass and there's not much else to it. Not evil, but he'd be just as annoying (if not more so) than he is at his regular size. Like his outward personality is SO obnoxious teasing giant coded. He'd be a menace and if he was a size shifter Iwaizumi would've been done with his crap a long time ago. He'd do the stupid stuff like block doors, cars, or anything that a human might want to access (the amount of times Iwa has almost let him have it for blocking his car in or not letting him get to his locker is insane)
but at the same time, he'd get so jumpy about the most random things that no normal giant would ever flip out about. it's been a while since I've had an ask and ty anon for getting me back in the g/t headspace <3
#g/t#giant/tiny#haikyuu#nyimsasks#size shifter#oikawa tooru#would not want to catch his attention at that size#bc my day would get 10x longer and become 10x more of a hassle#anyways love him though

Christmas season and borrowers:)
I am currently stressed tf out bc it's finals, so I came up with this little story idea for the Christmas season :)
So a human is decorating their house for the Christmas season. They've got the tinsel out and are setting up little Santa and snowman figurines, hanging the stockings, decorating the tree, and all of that fun stuff! They have their favorite Christmas songs playing out of their speaker, and it's a grand time. The human realizes they ran out of string lights, and quickly head to the store to get some more
cut to the borrower who lives in their walls. They love a good song, but of course, they never get the chance to sing. Not when they're always worried the human will hear them. But, the human just left! and left the music on! There's no time like the present... so they sneak out and climb onto the table with all the decorations!
It's a makeshift concert. The borrower is having so much fun playing with the decorations, twirling around the figurines that rival them in size, and just having a grand old time doing something they've never been able to do before! They even started dancing with one of those mini candy canes.
Then, the human comes back. The store was only two minutes away, so the trip was quick. The borrower is too busy having fun, and the human is just standing at the door in shock. WHATDOYOUMEAN there's a tiny person singing to their Christmas music and dancing with their decorations? The tiny eventually notices they're being watched and hides under a Santa hat on the table.
ha ha i love to imagine that the human ends up letting the borrower keep one of the little snowman figurines, and the borrower helps them finish decorating after they both calm down from the shock of seeing each other (and the human works overtime to convince the borrower they aren't upset with them bc I eat that up every time).
#g/t#giant/tiny#nyims drabbles#nyims g/t thoughts#i needed some festivity in life rn#because college is kicking me around the block#i just need to survive until next monday#giant tiny#borrowers#borrower

What’s your favourite g/t trope? And height dynamic (giant/human, human/tiny, etc)?
first tysm for the ask!!!! send me more send me more :)
I love a good found family fic. I'll eat those up anytime! Especially with siblings!!! like the potential for angst and character growth is so huge!!!! When someone can write those really well I am always so impressed. I enjoy it but it's hard for me to write myself :') My second fav is probably a really independent borrower and a human who just wants to help but is unsure how to not seem patronizing to their tiny friend. misunderstandings :)
As for my fav height dynamic, giants are growing on me! I'm typically a human/tiny kinda person, but giants as a concept have so much potential. How do they interact with human cities? Do the humans trust them? Are they ostracized or do they help out with different tasks around the city? Like there are so many world building questions there!
#g/t#nyimsasks#yeah giants that are out of place is another good one#but also shrinking/growing dynamics are fun#it's almost impossible to pick just one#got my gears turning

WIP Title I'm sorry (Haikyuu g/t fic pt 1)
this is basically for @obwjam (and the anon who asked for the snippet! Sorry it came out a bit late), and unsurprisingly, this is how I try to be friends with people :’) Sorry for using the practically same scenario for the intro but that’s just the perfect jumping point for a tiny in the haikyuu universe and a good way to set things up. plz enjoy part 1! featuring iwaizumi and oikawa :) pt. 2 TBA
“Where are they? Where did they go?” Hinata was frantic. The team bus was about to leave when he realized his tiny friend, Mitsu, was missing. During Interhigh, the team had gone a lot of places, so Hinata was unsure where they could’ve gone missing. They were there during Karasuno’s first match and while Hinata and Kageyama were watching Aoba Johsai. But after that, Hinata couldn’t recall seeing them.
HInata had befriended Mitsu earlier in the season, and they bonded over being the butt of Tsukishima’s short jokes. It took them a while to get comfortable around the team, but they warmed up soon enough. At first, it was a Karasuno secret, but then Hinata had to tell Kenma. So they became a Karasuno and Nekoma secret. But of course, Kuroo mentioned them to Bokuto, and the news spread from there. It was now common knowledge among the teams that Hinata had a tiny friend.
Hinata looked at their friendship fondly, but he was currently panicking. He didn’t know where they could be. How did they manage to get lost anyway? Mitsu loved sitting on Hinata’s shoulder, which they did most of the time. They must’ve gotten swept away in the crowd. How were they supposed to fend for themselves against a bunch of other teams? These were other teams Hinata was certain wouldn’t treat her with the same respect Karasuno did. He could only imagine what would happen if someone like Ushijima or Terushima found them.
Daichi was doing his best damage control, trying to console him. “They’re going to be okay, Hinata. They took care of themselves before they knew you, didn’t they? We’ll find them tomorrow.”
Hinata was beside himself. “This is all my fault. I should’ve kept a better eye on them. Now they’re who knows where? They hate being by themselves in crowds. Will they be okay?” Despite his ramblings, Daichi led him to the bus. Hinata reluctantly got on, casting a longing glance at the front of the Sendai gym before Kageyama yanked him onto the bus.
“OW! Kageyama!”
————————————————————————————-------
Mitsu was trying to stay calm. They had been separated from Hinata and Kageyama at some point during Interhigh. It was tough searching for the team. Their black uniforms blended in among the sea of people swarming the gyms and walkways. They spent all afternoon trying to avoid being stepped on and hit by stray volleyballs. Put simply, they were exhausted and just wanted to rest in the bed Hinata had dutifully made for them.
Except that wasn’t an option.
The last match of the evening was Shiratorizawa against some other team. Mitsu recalled how bummed Hinata had been that the team was leaving before the match started. Now they were bummed that the team had probably left the venue already. No, bummed was the wrong word. They were devastated.
It wasn’t like they didn’t know how to handle themselves, and Karasuno was coming back the next day. What stressed them out was being all alone in such a crowded place. Students and players were still openly roaming around since the last match was still in play.
As weird as it was at first, Mitsu had grown accustomed to the company of Hinata and the team. They used to be fiercely independent because borrowers like them tended to live alone. However, once they met Hinata and the rest of the team, they preferred having at least one human around them.
Mitsu went on many of Karasuno’s trips, mostly as a morale booster. They would get nervous on these trips because they were surrounded by unfamiliar giants whose habits they were unaware of. Mitsu didn’t know if they’d be a novelty to others or seen as a person. Being close to someone they knew could protect them, like Daichi or Asahi, made Mitsu feel more secure when traveling. And now they were alone.
A loud thud brought them back to reality. Every step rumbled the ground as they stood against the baseboard in a hallway. There were so many people, so many prying eyes. Mitsu wanted to be completely alone, away from any humans. They needed to figure out what they were doing for the night. Thinking quickly, they slipped underneath a nearby door into a quiet room.
“Finally, some peace,” they muttered. The room appeared empty and looked similar to Karasuno’s makeshift locker room. Mitsu smiled, figuring the team occupying that locker room had cleared out for the day. As they walked into the room, they noticed a few discarded towels and shirts.
“That’s a good start for something to sleep on,” They thought to themselves. “But where to sleep…” They didn’t venture over to the towels quite yet. Instead, they walked around the perimeter of the entire room, tapping the wall as they went. Mitsu hoped that there would be at least one hollow spot. They thought that maybe a borrower had lived here before.
It was to no avail. The walls were solid and rather new from what they could tell. Any tampering they did to these walls would be noticed almost immediately. They huffed at the thought of sleeping in the open. It felt so exposed. There wasn’t much to be done about it though, so Mitsu succumbed to the idea.
They walked over to the towels in the middle of the room. Sure, a shirt would be more comfy, but they only enjoyed sleeping on clean shirts. They weren’t spending all night in a random, smelly, sweaty shirt. As they felt the fabric, they noticed the towels weren’t terrible in comparison. This would keep them comfy enough for the night.
Mitsu grabbed the edge of the towel and began dragging it to the corner. If they had to sleep in the open, they’d at least be discrete about it.
That’s when they heard the dreaded sound of the door opening. They had no time to react; they could only stare as the door opened and revealed two towering figures. Mitsu’s brain buffered as they registered who these figures were.
“Hurry up and grab your stupid shirt, Oikawa! The bus isn’t going to wait all day for you.”
“Okay, okay, don’t throw that! I’m going, Iwa-chan!”
Mitsu flinched at every step as Oikawa hurried into the room. Their instincts finally came back to them as they scrambled under the towel. After a second, they barely peeked out to keep an eye on what was going on. This was just in time for Mitsu’s world to shake as Oikawa stepped right over her.
Their eyes were wide as Oikawa headed over to the very shirts that Mitsu had contemplated sleeping in. He easily gathered the shirts and turned to look in the bathroom. “Oh, Iwa-chan! My hairbrush is in here! If we never went back, I never would have found it,” He said with a cheeky smile.
Even though Mitsu couldn’t see Iwaizumi from where they were, they could tell he was getting irritated. “Be quick about it. We’re late enough as is.” He snapped. Oikawa dashed into the bathroom, and they relaxed ever so slightly. Once the duo left, it’d be back to peace and quiet.
Unfortunately, Mitsu had been so focused on Oikawa, that they failed to notice Iwaizumi’s movements. Their only warning was his grumbled words. “And he left the towels everywhere. Why can’t someone just pick up around here?” As soon as they registered his words, the towel they were hiding under was whisked away.
Mitsu was almost taken with the towel but fell out of the folds a few inches off the ground. It wasn’t a big fall, but it was enough to catch Iwaizumi’s attention. They could feel his gaze, so they slowly turned around. His shoes were only a few feet away from them. They grimaced and turned their head up to see his face.
His facial expression was difficult to place, but he still looked plenty intimidating to Mitsu. If she had to guess, he looked slightly weirded out, but also over the entire situation. They had listened to Hinata prattle on and on about Aoba Johsai. He had mentioned what they were like on the court, but that didn’t matter. Mitsu could only remember how scary Hinata said they were off the court.
On the other hand, Iwaizumi was downright confused. He had known about Mitsu, but never put much thought into… well… their existence. Now that they were right in front of him, he didn’t know what to think. They were just so small. He couldn’t even make out their facial expression from here. His shadow completely engulfed the area where they stood.
Iwaizumi wasn’t short, but he always felt that way when compared to some of his teammates. Right now, he felt gigantic. He didn’t know how to feel about that.
Before the two could stand there and gawk at each other for another five minutes, Oikawa emerged from the bathroom. “Okay! I grabbed my brush, touched up my hair, and…” he trailed off. He had expected Iwaizumi to have interrupted him by now. But Iwa was staring at the floor. Oikawa followed his gaze and noticed Mitsu on the floor.
Oikawa basically slid across the floor for a better look, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “So you’re the shrimp’s little buddy!” He said. Mistu recoiled from his quick advance. He was way too close for comfort. And they didn’t like that curiosity in his expression. “Shouldn’t you be with the rest of those weirdos? Consoling them about how they’ll lose to us tomorrow?”
Mitsu didn’t respond at first, although they rolled their eyes mentally. They had full confidence that Karasuno would win. And now more than ever, they wanted to see the look on Oikawa’s face when Karasuno won. Too bad they’d have to wait until tomorrow to see that. That is, if they made it through the night. At the moment, they had much bigger fish to fry.

Howdy I’m that anon that sent you that ask about final haikyu quest. It’s a game that was released on the Nintendo 3ds like a decade ago and I believe it’s only available in Japanese, but I’ve seen some blogs on here that have posted game translations.
I hope i explain the game right, but essentially Hinata sets off to defeat the Grand Demon King Oikawa and his ally Kuroo (Kiyoko’s there too with her henchmen Nishinoya and Tanaka) alongside Kageyama, Kenma, Iwaizumi, and Aone.
I think there are playthrough videos somewhere on YouTube, I have to do some digging myself, but I can send the link if you want. I know the #final Haikyu quest tag is helpful for finding blogs that go into more detail about this game, and I’ve found some awesome fancontent (the angst is very high in some).
Here’s the poster for it as well (major g/t vibes)

OMG I thought I answered this a whileeeeee ago I'm so sorry😭
the basics sword is really killing me for some reason I find it hilarious. But I see where you were going with the vibes! I feel them as well :) There could definitely be a lot of potential here 😮
Oikawa would be such a bitch as a giant like he'd be so taunting for what. Mini mage kenma would also be a cute idea! If I have any other thoughts I'll just tack them on here.

so real
We need more POC characters in the g/t community imo. I like seeing everyone’s stuff, just that the majority of it is white. It makes sense, the majority of tumblr users are white and people make characters they can relate to mostly with regards to skin color. Idk I’m just wanting more pretty giant black men that’s it

Quick drabble
ok ok I was at a music festival all weekend and OMG so many g/t thoughts in my head. every bass regardless of artist or song gave me that feeling of the rumbling in my chest. (yk, like how we all wish we could feel a giant's voice doing that to us? anyways) Sometimes, it felt like really loud footsteps too like augh! Also I went on a 60m observation wheel (a little shy of 200 ft) and boy was I very happy riding that lol.
Anyways, hopefully I find new inspiration soon bc I have like 5 new g/t crushes (do you guys get those? it's not romantic or anything you just wish they were huge/small) since the last time I tried to write anything.

last week was crazy... maybe this'll be out in August sometime? features my absolute fav Iwaizumi and his idiot best friend Oikawa. It'll be long so I might have to split it into two parts!
maybe I'll post a haikyuu g/t fic in the next week or so... I had 1000 words then I completely forgot about it! Returning to it as we speak... we'll see how it goes
