how did you learn to juggle? i have been really struggling!

THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION

The very first thing that both sparked my interest in juggling & clowning, and also taught me the basic juggling was the Barnum And Bailey "Be A Clown" video. I originally started learning with the same two apples (which got REALLY gross after a few days) until I eventually got typical juggling balls (the bean bag kind)

The thing about juggling is that to learn how to juggle, you have to really really want to juggle. The very beginning of learning to juggle kind of sucks, but once you don't have to think about it anymore it's really fun. The best and most obvious advice anyone had ever given me when I had just started to juggle was that you just have to let the balls fall at first. Like just learning the throwing pattern before worrying about catching them. It feels obvious now but it was helpful to me at the time

Im not a professional juggler!! I just do it for fun and am not that good at it. Also! The ija (international juggling association) has a page about learning to juggle that I tend to visit alot. It's been really helpful while I've been trying to learn more tricks and different patterns
